I was wishing last night that my favorite male Japanese singer, Gackt, and my favorite female Japanese singer, Ayumi Hamasaki, would do a duo. I didn't think that they'd actually done it... *fangirl scream* XD

This was so BEAUTIFUL! Too bad I didn't listen to this three days ago (when Christmas was) ah well. I've heard other voices that synchronise more better together than this, but I still liked it :)

For me as a fan of both of them it is so comfortable to see them singin sooooo beautifull and pure. I would feel uncomrtable if they made a flirting version like the western musicians would do lol. ("sex sells" :( At least real music sells better) So I really appreciate this. This is just music. And art. And no disturbing fan girlscreams, thats good for both, listeners and artists. Otherwise they would probably become as arrogant, disrespected and pissed of of their fans like miley c.

They sound absolutely wonderful together. I am not necessarily a fan of Ayumi Hamasaki, but I do enjoy hearing her sing with Gackt in this song and a few others. Gackt is amazing whether he uses "sex" or not in his videos. I don't think he has to. He is talented in so many ways. So this music video proves it, among others, that just because in some of his vids he may get a bit carried away and whatnot, he doesn't have to use "sex" appeal.

I think its becase Ayu has a stronger more powerful voice thn Gackt, so that soesn't mi very well. Also, Namie has a smoother, gentler voice so it blends better with Gackt, cuz they're both kinda quiet. Ayu is just such a strong singer that she just overshadows anyone on stage with her XD <3

I also think that Ayu has more of a stage presence than Gackt, so I think maybe he was a little bit intimidated by THE QUEEN!~ LOL XD

After singing, they had couple talk together and that was super cute. I think they became friends after that, because Ayu called Gackt ""Gakkchin"" in this show and until now everytime meet Gackt she still calls him like that ^^

I agree here. Also, I think that Ayu has a better solo-voice...and overpowers the other person when doing duets...

Namie works really well with both solo and duet, and sings in an octave lower to Ayu so she doesn't have notes that are too sharp.

IMO, they're both respectable artists, but my heart lies with Namie. [Partly because she has brilliant hair... XD]
