This has nothing to do with the real Land Rover. The original Land Rover vas a utillity vehicle. A workhorse. This is a leasure vehicle for the rich. Guess thats the future. British farmers hauling there sheeps intirely in japanese pick-up trucks. And Land Rover will slowly loose there legacy, being just another luxury car.

?????seriously????? Land rover are makin a very big mistake by doing what they are gunna do. If this was not going to replace the defender, it would be a good concept, but why dont land rover make this DC100 into a new model instead of replacing? i don't understand. By replacing one of the most original cars on the road today would be a huge blow to all potential buyers. they really haven't thought this through...

@rahgaga77 i agree this is horible as a replacement but in 2015 the origianal defender will not pass laws on pedestrian safety ect which is why it will be discontinued

If you want a workhorse - get an old Defender

If you want a surf-bums girl-magnet - get a VW camper or a 4x4 camper

If you want to look like a toff - get a Range Rover

If you want a family lifestyle 4x4 - get a Discovery

Where's the market for something that's actually managed to look less attractive than Skoda Yeti (though I'm sure has a bigger price tag).

I'm sticking with my old Landie thanks...
