the book, elvis we love you tender, writen by three half bastards of dee's. they made E's hair short to make him more evil.  to make him more angry and to be afraid of. an adult figure to the younger boys who have long hair. yeah, E's hair was much longer then this actors hair. they did a fantastic job for mr. ed parker who was one deadly if not the best kempo karate men in the world that mike stone messed with E's wife. thats a big foul in my book. r.i.p E see you in heaven soon.

Phew..I don't know what to say here... I mean the hair thing...Us ETA's spend a fortune to get the long hair and sideburns authentic..

The shorter hair has to be deliberate...I mess around with directing film on a small scale so I KNOW that nothing is left to chance with a movie...you have to plan every single little shot...So I'm guessing it's to appeal to a younger audience and bring him "up to date"...A wrong decision I think !
