  • Try Pluto the First Difficult on Hypermove Mode.

  • I guess they made HMM easy because they're trying a new way of hand-markers, and wanted to make sure people get the hang of them so they can make Expert charts next time? I certainly still am trying to get the hang of them...

  • Here's the thing though, balance board is new too, and yet the difficulty spike from Basic to Difficult is much higher. There's a real progression there.

    Another thing, these are Difficult charts, not Basic. This could pass for Basic, while Basic could pass for Beginner. The only difficulty with Difficult is just learning to recognize certain hand/foot patterns, which is not hard after some playing time.

  • Hyper Move Mode can stay, but IMO it should re-adopt the hand combo system HP2 had and make ALL AAAs tied to a score requirement without gimmicks. Let the gimmicks stay in Free Play. As seen here, it should get all new charts too, along with an Expert difficulty. Beginner can go simply because like Doubles you should have experience with the basic game before advancing on to this stuff.

  • Speaking of HP2 AAA requirements, you said earlier that if a song required Hand Markers and a score requirement (like Black or White), then turning on gimmicks gets rid of the score requirement. Is this true?

  • Yeah, but you still have to do it with hands on though. You can't do it with just gimmicks alone.
