right ok I feel for ramsey and I wish him a quick recovery but I also feel for shawcross. football has turned soft its meant to be a mans game, the tackle was there to be won a 50/50 tackle so he had every right to go for the ball. 40 years ago this tackle would have been waved on until the ball was out of place. I tackle hard in my game if there ball is there to be won I'd go in any tackle I feel right

it was 50-50 its just ramsay was fastest, i think arsenal players were being assholes though, shawcross was distraught he didnt need all them having ago at him. they wouldnt even let him support ramsay which is a disgrace. it wasnt on purpose like roy keanes!

@diplexbullet19 you clearly need to watch the tackle again in slow motion. There is never any need for a player to go in that high and with that much malice. If he had connected with the ball it would have cleared the stands. Clearly he thought 'I'm going to show him what my fucking cunt of a manager told me to do by 'getting in his face', i.e. hurt him. Also, who gives a shit if shawcross was distraught, what he did was against the law of the game and deserved what he got.

ive no doubt ramsey will come back stronger after this. in my opinion he will be one of the best midfielders in europe when hes about 23 or so.hes only 19 and this is just a setback.i predict he will be even better than the likes of gerrard.get well soon.

50/50 tackle there. Both commited. If anything, giving shawcross the red card was completely unfair.
Shawcross pretty much had possesion and could be seen going to boot the ball. Ramsey just dove in with his leg. Ramsey at fault IMO.
Speedy recovery from this though.
