I think its legit unless the dude got some short ass gears. If you know the transmission he's using you can find out the shift points and estimate the trap speed he gotten through the 1/4 mile. Unless he raised the rev limiter and or changed his tranny for shorter gears, he should be shifting into 4th at around 90mph right? Which by the end of the video he was deep in 4th and a 13.7 et trap speed should be around 104? Sounds reasonable to me..

U dont kno hondas then man...When that fuckin d16 sohc is reving as high as it is you gotta make sure its in gear. He also said it was stock. The shift throw on a stock honda is WAY longer then any eclipse. The turbo eclipse stock trannyhas a nice slose together shift pattern while the honda one is loose. I owned a 97 gs-t, and now I own a 96 civic coupe.

@garrett6699 I went from a 95' TSI AWD to a 96 DX Civic. I had a stock shifter on my Talon and it didn't seem significantly shorter by any means. It shifted way smoother but it also had a TRE built tranny. I tend to miss more gears in the Civic (I don't think I ever missed a shift in the Talon) but the Honda feels like I can slam gears better and not break it, unlike the DSM I usually babied it every shift in fear of breaking the trans.

i had some gay rota attacks on goodyear eagle f1 tires. as for fuel i had a walbro 255 pump and 370cc rc injectors. and i had an ebay ss autochrome manifold, saab T3 turbo, 2.5 downpipe, johnny race car intercooler, hks ssqv blow off valve. pretty much it.

dont wanna sound like a hatter but ur launching at around 14.5-15th sec of video so if u ran a 13.7 shouldnt u have been done the race by 28-28.5? it looks more like ur running a 15 which would make sense out of a stock d16 only at 6 psi. my rides a 89 crx gutted with built d16turbo at 10psi and my best is 13.88

well he started somewhere over 14 near to 15 and the looked at the result board at 29, that means the result was there already for something less then 1 second, that gives us 13-14 s as his result for 1/4....
