  • super duper good! :)

  • very nice...what kind of sax is that?

    peace

  • @michaelsantino01 It is a cannonball soprano saxophone

  • Beautiful ! I especially like the softness of your sound and the beautiful vibrato.

  • How do you get such a colorful sound? I'm a sax player and always looking for ways to improve.

  • omg....how are you this good?! it's not fair....

  • @barrelracer1098 haha, 12+ years of practice. You can get there too if you really want it :)

  • sounds like kenny g

  • Beautiful sound.

  • She doesn't have a long breath but i love her style!!!

  • @USAFA10s if it isn't too much trouble to write it out that would be great. thanks. and beautiful playing by the way.

  • @MrBaloogaMan I do not, I learned it by ear, but I do still know it if you want the sheet music, I could write it out. let me know.

  • Do you have the sheet music for this?

  • I like the color in your sound. It's very classical; you almost make your sax sound like a flute.

  • @kewlfroy2 Thanks! I was completely self taught for my first 3 years of playing but had a director who was a flute player. Do you play?

  • @USAFA10s, Yes I do. I play most woodwinds, but over the last few years I have been focusing on the Alto Sax mostly.

  • Very very nice I play the sax for the marine band! Very nice sound. Extremely impressed!

  • @mpace2011 wow, thanks! That means a lot coming from an experienced musician. I kind of had to give up playing seriously because USAFA doesn't have a lot of opportunities for saxophone, but I still love playing.

  • very nice....

  • That was impressive shannon.

  • this is so beautiful you an amazing sax player!

  • Nice Shannon, what mouthpiece and reed?, looks like a Rovner ligature..

  • @isleman44 You are correct about the ligature, and it is a Vandoren 3 reed, with some kind of Selmer mouthpiece but I am actually separated from my saxophone (sad face) for about a month and I cannot remember which model it is so I will have to get back to you on that.

  • @isleman44 quick update, it is a Selmer S80

  • @USAFA10s Thanks, your the second person who's got a selmer, I have been asking around, mine is arriving in the post soon, good luck and keep your head down..(USAF)
