I found Joe about ten years earlier than this video. He was playing in a teen juice bar sponsored by the Lutheran Church. The kids thought I was a narc. He is still one of the best stringed instrument players I have ever known. I have gone back to hear him many times. Jerry Reeves was the only better banjo player. I heard him one night at Crazy Ed's. I know Jerry made a number of records but I can't find any.
