A great and unique arrangement of this song. Totally owns it. Doing anything so similar to the Doors' would be karaoake. This is different enough to enjoy both versions. Wonderful guitarist.

How cool would it be to be around when this was a hit for the Doors in 1967, then one year later, when along comes this groovy, soulful version, sung by a blind Puerto Rican who rocked a mean Spanish guitar, kicking the doors down for it to be covered by hundreds of artists? What a crossover! The thing is - the music was good for both versions. This sort of thing doesn't happen much anymore.

Voilà la meilleure vidéo de cette interprétation de Féliciano: elle date de 1969 et je trouve que c'est une documentation historique remarquable. On connaissait bien sûr l'original des Dorrs, mais je me souviens que cette nouvelle manière très personnelle et originelle de J.F. nous a tous enchantés!!! Moi, j'étais ravie et je le suis toujours!
