I love the BOOM at the start of the track. Also, maybe it's just me, but some aspects of the song seem to be similar to the Area Zero theme that played in the forest stage in MMZ4. It's almost as if this theme is a way of telling how much the forest, or rather, the entire world, has changed since then.

I remember finding a safe place in the area, putting the DS to my ear and listening to this song for a bit. I love music on the handheld systems but megaman games take it to another level. Even the Zero series had a fantastic soundtrack. Just simply amazing. Though I wish they had kept the concept of the Zero series and scrapped the A-Trans bit, both games were nothing short of awesome. ZX I enjoyed moreso than Advent. I found that Aile/Vent were much more becoming characters.

@13lace ZX doesn't use MIDI; I strongly doubt the DS even *supports* MIDI (given that as a fileformat it's been out of date for the better part of 15 years). My guess is that they're average-quality wav format... or, more likely, some DS-specific propriety format.

@Calegaea754321 I agree, a lot of it is because of its brighter and kinder attitude compared to X and Zero's darker and edgier attitudes.

The problem is if they didn't make ZX's world seem hopeful then it would have made Zero's ending seem cheap. I mean the entire point of the ending was to show a bright future. Making ZX dark and edgy would have killed that.

One thing i don't really like about the ZX story line is that they don't give Zero much regonition, except for just being known as the "Red Hero". I don't get it cause X saved everyone, not Zero, but during the Zero series everyone knows him. But during the ZX series Zero saved everyone but he is only known as the "RED HERO". Zero should just probably do nothing to help and maybe he'll be none as a god. lol jk

@ZeroTolerence0 I do recall Zero saving the planet from Weil. See Megaman Zero 4. X saved it before him, but they both did. Zero sacrificed himself (without much choice) to stop Ragnarök from crashing into the planet. X sealed the Dark Elf with his body.

But I do agree, it's sad to see their names fade from history. I mean we still remember our heroes from thousands of years ago. Hopefully they come up again.

Model Albert sounds as lame as it gets. I don't like that name. I"ve though I've gotten through the whole storyline. Albert sucks a** anyway. So for my own comfort, I just called it Model Axl, due to some abilities that is based of of Axl's design in MMX7/8.

The only evidence that the games are canon is the reference to an Orbital Elevator, and that's it. Just because Axl's body type and copy chips are used in ZXA doesn't make Axl canon.

Besides, since when did I deny X6-Command Mission as being Canon? The only non-canon game is Command Mission, an obvious Novelty Game. The year's for the Zero and CM mission game overlap.

X6-8 can be canon, doesn't mean Axl is (he wasn't big to the story either).

It's a beat rythm game sort of like Elite Beat Agents for DS with the theme being that of the japanese version Osu! Tatake! Ouendan!

The game itself is plain but the maps you can play on it can either be made by you or from others. The site is osu. ppy. sh just remove the extra spaces.
