We must strive to make this a reality. I understand where you're coming from and I once wished for it too, but cars, planes, and factories are progress and you can't stop progress. Why is it that wiccans claim to follow ancient paths, when Wicca/neo-paganism is only about 60 years old? The three-fold law was first mentioned by raymond buckland in the 50s. The wiccan laws are only about 60 years old. The original Ancient Pagan religions where very different from what the new-age mindset is.
The Original Gods taught people black magick as well as white. They teach that Godhood must be achieved. I'm not trying to offend you if you're wiccan, I'm just challenging you.

I think the song is right, people are starting to be greatful to our ancestors. People are returning to the ancient ways. I feel as if Pagan's are starting to return it mass numbers, its a wonderful sight to see. Sadley it's not enough. If we are going to save the Earth we must fight for balance and give up this way of life. I feel like my hand is always forced to work against the planet becuase our laws are such that living off of and in tune with the land is borderline criminal. This is something different, the music and the text interact in a very nice way, because the repetiveness and that more and more people start singing etc has much to do wih the ancient ways/rituals, so it fits nice together and makes much sense to do it this way and no other

but..... there is a danger here. internationalism was not part of the ancient ways. there can be peace among peoples without pushing internationalism. each person should return to his or her roots and rekindle and preserve their cultural identities. people must refind their pagan roots of prechristianity (unless your pagan roots are middle eastern)
@alexbsrammstein19 Totally! I tried to throw away an old bible and my mom said that it would be disrespectful. I never actually was christian to begin with but baptized into the catholic church as a baby so I had no say. My mom doesn't believe in this and thinks that astrology is a load of nonsense. I quoted studies that show that it is 99% accurate. She is full blown christian. Which means that she, my brother, and sister are also pretty sick! I rebeled at 18 by leaving it.
It took a long time to break my colonial chains and return to an earlier and correct form of worship. When I broke away from Christianity EVERYTHING began to make much more since. Hail Amun!

The people of the bible were pagans too (moses' staff, etc) - but the church concealed magic because with magic, you don't need the church for spirituality. :) Religion is an organization dependent on funds/donations. The Virgin Mary represents Spirit Below or the Earth life force current, Jesus represents Spirit Above or the Solar life force current. In my own practice I use Odin and Freyja or Thor and Sif.

Have pride in your beliefs, but don't abandon common sense in the process.

There is no worship of Jesus in Paganism, as he wasn't around when Paganism was being worshipped originally. So unless there is a bizzarre sect that worship both that i've never heard of, i'm a bit confused.
How come you folks don't use the Language. It makes it more powerful when you use the ancient language. I'm native and we are compared to the Pagan which I respect. But who taught who if our scroll we hold is 10,000 yrs old?

Sadley it's not enough. If we are going to save the Earth we must fight for balance and give up this way of life. I feel like my hand is always forced to work against the planet becuase our laws are such that living off of and in tune with the land is borderline criminal. If only the population would drop to 100,000 worldwide maybe we would have a chance. Lets hope we can find a way before our great circle breaks and all Life ends because of our choices.

@Naiant there are many good pagan songs like "i am pagan (and im proud)", the witch song etc.
This is something different, the music and the text interact in a very nice way, because the repetiveness and that more and more people start singing etc has much to do wih the ancient ways/rituals, so it fits nice together and makes much sense to do it this way and no other

good! people HAVE to return to the ancient ways! thats the ONLY way people are going to survive this modern age. thats all great.
but..... there is a danger here. internationalism was not part of the ancient ways. there can be peace among peoples without pushing internationalism. each person should return to his or her roots and rekindle and preserve their cultural identities. people must refind their pagan roots of prechristianity (unless your pagan roots are middle eastern)

@alexbsrammstein19 Totally! I tried to throw away an old bible and my mom said that it would be disrespectful. I never actually was christian to begin with but baptized into the catholic church as a baby so I had no say. My mom doesn't believe in this and thinks that astrology is a load of nonsense. I quoted studies that show that it is 99% accurate. She is full blown christian. Which means that she, my brother, and sister are also pretty sick! I rebeled at 18 by leaving it.

@TeenWitchboy - the christian god is a pagan god "yahweh" known for burning bushes. The people of the bible were pagans too (moses' staff, etc) - but the church concealed magic because with magic, you don't need the church for spirituality. :) Religion is an organization dependent on funds/donations. Spirituality, is not.

@mortiisera2 i feel the need to put my two cents in being christopagan myself. i love when pagans(who have a long history of being persecuted) persecute christians adopting the faith. just because there were christians who used the faith to commit evil doesnt mean the faith itself is evil. think of it if anyone is a mage its Jesus.theres a passage in the bible where a king uses a witch to summon a spirit from heaven. and know for rant. I WORSHIP GOD AND THE GODDESS I DEFINE MY FAITH NO ONE ELSE

@mortiisera2 The only way is to go into the silence and learn from it. Eventually you will hear the wisdom of the cosmos. To me being a Pagan is a way of life. I need no special tricks or rituals personally, but I don't begrudge others who find that they need them. The creator is within all of us.

@Perunfolk do your research The 2nd Golden age of the Celts, Celtic Christianity, was and is still very nature based. The Virgin Mary represents Spirit Below or the Earth life force current, Jesus represents Spirit Above or the Solar life force current. In my own practice I use Odin and Freyja or Thor and Sif.

Pagan tradition is Germanic, and Christianity sprouted from Judaism (a middle-eastern monotheistic religion which thrived in the xenophobic culture of early Israel). Several popes during the spread of Christianity ordered the assimilation of native Germanic peoples into the Church, thus placing modern Christian holidays on traditional Pagan holidays. Have pride in your beliefs, but don't abandon common sense in the process.

Not only are you misinformed, but you also represent your own beliefs about as well as the WBC represents Christianity. To argue religion requires a state of objectivity--it's situational ethics. @mortiisera2 Apologies for appearing rude, but there is no such link between Chrstianity and Paganism, apart from the fact that Christianity was formed on major Pagan festivals and took a few customs. Which does contradict my statement lol, but I mean in terms of where you mention Jesus.
There is no worship of Jesus in Paganism, as he wasn't around when Paganism was being worshipped originally. So unless there is a bizzarre sect that worship both that i've never heard of, i'm a bit confused.
