In my hometown of Louisville, we have huge photos posted of famous Louisvillians, such as Muhammad Ali and Diane Sawyer, on sides of buildings. We need to get Patty's photo on one of the buildings.
My mother is 92 yrs old. This song reminds me of precious memories of my child hood. The woman bore 9 children and we were not desperately poor but could've used a lot more. For some reason I see my mother sitting at our old dining table with her reading glasses the Bible open in front of her. She was drinking a cup of coffee, it was 5am. It is then I knew she cherished Our Lord and the blessed time she had with Him.
My most precious memory is singing with my Mom in church when I was a little boy. The song was "The Lord Is My Shepherd." Mom played guitar and sang harmony with me. Because of her and Dad, I trust Jesus as my Saviour and friend. They were two of God's agents on earth. They sang beautifully together for 47 years, and are reunited now singing the praises of The Lord for eternity. Malvin and Elva, your little boy misses you......Thanks Dad and Mom.

Thanksgiving was special in our family years ago before he passed...spent at the "old home place" giving all us kids a hayride with an old tractor pulling us after we gave thanks and shared a meal..he was like your dad, a living example of God's selfless Love.

Thank you! When I think of precious memories, I especially remember the times spent on my grandparents' dairy farm. One generation removed from the responsibilities of farm chores, my siblings, cousins, and I all enjoyed the farm immensely! : )

One precious memory for me was a beautiful tree that had boughs that touched the ground. i sat under it for my breaks. It was a very stressful time at work for me. I read the book of Psalms while the birds sang to me. They were so close that I could have touched them. The Lord provided this place of comfort and solitude and I will always remember it..
Love this and the familiar faces! Thanks so much. This met me right where I was at. God used this to minister to me, just after getting of the phone with the hospital. Dad was rushed back in to the hospital today. Feel a load come off watching this. Much Love and Blessings to you.
