  • pure --amazing! He sings it like he just wrote it.

  • I have a hard time listening to this song without the band. It's a good version, but it sounds so much more intense with the band, namely Max's drumming is superb.

  • This is the song that started it all for me - heard it on university radio way back in '72 and I've been riding with him ever since. Thank god I was on this earth at the same time as Bruce Springsteen.

  • That sums it all up for me too - "Thank god I was on this earth at the same time as Bruce Springsteen" Well said.

    Great Great Song

  • the kids call him jimmy the saint

  • he leans on the hood telling racing stories

  • ......Mr Sclizmo,, watch the youtube of the Boss introducing Bob when inducted into the Rock n Roll hall of fame..listen to his story and you will understand his connection to Dylan ........

  • Is it just me or was Bruce doing a bit of a dylan impersonation there?

    What a great tune!

  • no, i see what you're saying

  • I think he might do that because that album was very... Dylanesque. People called him "the new Dylan" after that first album; his writing style is very similar, so maybe it's a tribute or something. I've noticed that with other songs such as "For You."

  • go ask joan baez if it's ok to sound like dylan

  • Great song!

  • devils and dust tour was such a gift.

  • i wish he would write some more music like this and all his other 70's greats

  • He lays on the street holding his legs, screaming something in spanish..

damn, that's a powerful sentence... gives me the creeps
