If Iowa can do it, it won't be too much longer before many other states will follow. It would, of course, be ideal if federal law legalized gay marriage, or even civil union, but I think that might take longer. But then, a year ago, I had doubts that Obama could be elected, so who knows. :-)

My partner and I are waiting for Wisconsin to catch up with Iowa. Never lose hope.
