Thank God we Orthodox Christians have priests who are allowed & encouraged to marry (heterosexually). Oddly, a Roman Catholic who becomes a priest cannot marry according to the Vatican, yet an Eastern Orthodox Christian priest who is married &converts to the RCC is allowed to remain married. As I mentioned other religious traditions admit the role of celibacy in spiritual development. To secularists & atheists who have literally nothing to offer in terms of spirituality and are proud of it, all religions are aberrations so these pedophiles allow them to express their moral indignation/logical superiority. Of course for atheists morality has no spiritual foundation so it is very conceivable that one day, pedophilia will actually be socially acceptable. Happened with homosexuality.

But to say that celibacy is to blame is to overlook the fact that the Buddhists, Hinduism's holy men and other religious traditions likewise recognise the value of celibacy in spiritual development. There have been married pedophiles and molesters. And the argument that celibacy is wrong because it is "unnatural" is a fallacy, specifically an appeal to nature. Sex is not a "need", especially considering plenty of celibate people aren't pedos.

There's so many things wrong with this it is hard to know where to start. However, 19 years old is an adult and that's not illegal. Nevertheless, the fact this PRIEST who in the name of God (clearly with all of the Catholic stuff on his wall there) was having sex with another male who he probably abused from a younger age when it WAS illegal is morally destitute. Thank God we Orthodox Christians have priests who are allowed & encouraged to marry (heterosexually). Oddly, a Roman Catholic who becomes a priest cannot marry according to the Vatican, yet an Eastern Orthodox Christian priest who is married &converts to the RCC is allowed to remain married. That's not fair to the poor RC who's not allowed to marry. Orthodox Church doesn't have perverted priest problem the RCC does. RCC, let your priests marry, grow facial hair, and wear manly vestments.
