  • Yep,Badass film......the wolves & ending,fucking a......Classic,at it's finest. Stands Alone from the rest,thankfully! (sorry, werewolf movies)

  • Top shelf, motherfuckers.

  • is it just me, or when the white wolf started to howl, it gave me the chills down my spine

  • Love the Wrath of Khan music.

  • I still don't understand what this is about. How does this count as a werewolf film?

  • @DarthSmoke1 It's not a werewolf film. Admittedly, I thought it was going to be at first glance but the title is "Wolfen" which can mean something other than werewolves.

  • @xyPERSON Well were did these "wolves" come from? And they do play around with Native American belive's about Skinwalkers and shape shifting. In a way it is a werewolf film. But what I want to know is whats with super natural thing?

  • that white wolf is gorgeous! i wish i had a pet wolf.....they look so cute and cuddly

  • @xXKittyxCat like a pet?

  • @tDeathwingr yeah. like a pet. lol

  • @xXKittyxCat they are not dogs anyway.

  • I think they messed it up with them disappearing like theyre spirit wolves or something, what do spirits need with meat anyways? Just leave them as really smart wolves and it works great. makes ya think twice about wandering around the slums could end up a wolf burger

  • @pdxeddie1111 i know, i was like what the heck

  • The book was a lot more coherent than this film. For some reason they tried to make a political statement about Native American rights with this movie, and none of that stuff is in the book at all. The zoologist is the one who figured out what the creatures were and then died trying to make contact with them.

  • @cerebulon Anything to bash the white man from the anti-whites who control Hollywood.

  • That was actually a pretty good ending to me. I didn't know there was a book on it. The wolves a beautiful, not like those that the wolves arn't wolves at all. It was good through and through to me.

  • the ending was er terrible

and WTF was the MAC 11 !!!

  • wow, that was pretty good until it sucked.

  • this ending sucked

  • i remember reading the book and it was better than the film even though the film was great so i guess that's a compliment both way's, the cover used to scare seven sods of day light out of me and was the cause of me wetting the bed as a little boy but i got another thing about this film and if you listen close its an Illuminati film based on depopulation the wolfen were representing the them and the detective was representing Christianity. Christianity is portrayed as d destruction of humanity

  • LOVEITLOVEITLOVEIT !!!!

  • I love werewolf movies but even though they're "spirit wolves" this film is still Ace!!!!

  • This is not a werewolf movie, and they lopped off at the end because they are the real deal, spirit wise... Badass fucking movie, oh yes. If you want to watch a REAL werewolf movie, then take your asses over to either one, or the two: The Howling, or American werewolf in London. Afraid of pussy, maybe? Then check out Cat People. It's on YOUTUBE. Werewolves are scary, to be sure... But really, isn't sex? I'll tell you what; Turn off the lights, all by yourself, then think : New Orleans?!

  • Never understood the ending of this movie, where the wolves just fade away.

  • Holy crap....look at the size of their teeth. The domesticated dog really lost a lot of the killer attributes from the original wolf line

  • I've been waiting many years to see this movie again and here I unexpectedly find it on Youtube! This film is superior to both The Howling and American Werewolf in London. Wolfen has an original and unique perspective on the werewolf genre that cemented it in my memory. Now I have to read the book which is always better. WOLFEN is the Best Werewolf Movie Ever !!!!!!!

  • 1:01, The first time I ever saw that, it terrified me. Actually, that whole scene in the apartment complex is just terrific.

  • The book was amazing. This movie not at all. In the book werewolves are actual creatures described as "German Sherpards from Hell". And the book is so much gorier. They should have stuck with the book's ideas. It would have made for a much better movie.

  • @ilovesluts True, but a good movie nonetheless.

  • Cool movie. Thanks for uploading! Not really a monster movie at all, so it's a bit disappointing in that regard, especially when it was released in the same year as The Howling and An American Werewolf in London, two superior films. That being said, it really gets off to a nice start and has some funny moments. Along the way, it sort of loses its way, but Finney does a decent job and Gregory Hines is especially likeable. The head lopping scene at the end is quite the payoff!

  • the howling was horrible

  • @liquidlink6 What? Are you serious?Howling was the first movie of modern horror, and a classic it gave me nightmares when I was a kid. This it taught me to stay with a gun if I go in the woods.I won't say this movie sucked, but Cujo was a much scarier movie. It depicted how dangerous a dog or wolf can actually be.

  • One of my Top Favorite Wolf Flicks WOLFEN RULES!!!!!

  • Thank you for uploading. I forgot how good this movie is.

  • The End is Cool Them Running Free They Look happy !!!!

  • I Love The Indian Legend Of The Wolf Spirit That Is So Cool!!!!

  • Not even close to as good as the book was.

  • This is a good flick need more like this thanks and good job

  • That movie could have been a half shorter and it wouldn't have mattered.

  • good film. thnks

  • Awesome movie I only discovered it around 2001.

  • I loved this movie. It has a great message. Thanks for uploading it. ^_^
