Very true that the grass olieribos is nettle. Simon mentions this in a lecture tape. My friend is one of the heads of the Order of the Necronomicon. He was the first to publish this lecture tape online. Simon explains this fully. Also, he has met Simon and talked to him about it.
Of course its not real. All grimoires make such claims. So do most occult societies. It doesnt matter. The rituals are made real by the practitioners. Magicians can make any ritual real by practice. screw the haters

Of course you know...the Necronomicon is just as real as a Catholic Mass if you mean validity as a religious ceremony. It's actually a lot cooler than a Catholic Mass for that matter. It is meant to empower the individual through spiritual awakening and self-reliance. So, if the Necronomicon is b.s., then so is a Catholic Mass by that standard, which is what I'm sure stupid reporter meant. It is more effective as a religion for self than any church. Critics should eff themselves.

That actually is a very sound statement. We are currently taking pre-orders for the First Edition of the Mardukite Necronomicon by Joshua Free. (The Second Ed. will eventually be available more publicly). Up to this point my public work with the Necro has been heavily laden with my work with the Simon rendition enough to be able to go to its older sources, I actually have friends who were involved in the Simon work old and recent. The question is: "real compared to what?" LOL - thanks!
