Thank God for letting the world enjoy John and his music for the short time he was with us. Although he called him home way to early in our eyes his music touched millions and he lives on in our hearts and souls. He was a true American troubadour. RIP John we all miss you.
I grew up in mcewen Tennessee and moved to the city when I was twelve. You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy. RIP John
I may have spoken incorrectly in my prior post. I said John was born in Colorado. However, I'm not positive John was actually born in the state of Colorado. I do know that he lived there many years. He may have actually been born in Minnesota. I heard that somewhere. But like I said, I'm not sure. But I am sure of one thing! This is a great song and John was a great singer.
@mrjazz747 ... Thanx for the information. I'll amend my first post and say "that imo John is the best singer to have been born in New Mexico". Roswell, an interesting town. Rumor has it that aliens crash-landed near there back in the 1930's. Not sure when John was born, but imo his singing is out-of-this-world!!!! You don't think?? Could it be????? Nah! lol. .....Have a great day and thank you for your response.

I have to say John Denver had a way to bring a smile to your face and he also had a way to make you dance and sing along with him

John's the man, John's the best singer ever born in Colorado. I can listen to this song over and over. Too bad he's gone. A great talent.
