Long story...but I came across this clip when I was in the middle of a very messed-up part of my life, not the least of which was being out of work. The phrase "Tomorrow is another day" is such a cliche but it took on so much meaning with this song, and I kept thinking of Ella singing this as I worked to get myself out of it. Thank you, Ella, for inspiring me to keep trying.

When this performance was filmed its incredible to think she had already clocked up 30+ years in show business. Like Sarah Vaughan, she always maintained the highest artistic and musical standard to the end.

Ella was the best. Love her as much as I love Sinatra. That special was a gift from the heavens to hear these two sing in their prime. This is my favorite version of this song. Nobody swings this song like she did it here. Yeah baby.

Ella was The Greatest. No one could swing like Ella back then. No one can now. Sinatra is clearly filled with delight listening to her. I have been all my life.
