to realy care for a betta you need a heater!!! thats number 1 number 2 bigger is better so 1 gall better then a cup 3 gal better then 1 and 10gal better then 3 so on, for me 2.5gal is the smallest I have ever gone. Next you will need a filter so you can cycle the tank, but you also need to make sure your not blowing your lil guy all over the tank. Then you will need plants and a cave or plants and drift wood but basicly stuf to hide in and play around and food, verity is healthier

Rule number one: go find a different video this is wrong on EVERYTHING bettas need a2.5 gallon tank AT LEAST!!!!!! Bettas are aggressive with other BETTAS AS KONG AS THE TANK IS BIG ENOUGH YOU CAN KEEP THEM WITH ITHER FISH!!! The tank should be at least 5 gallons to keep a betta with other fish keep with peaceful to semi aggressive fish NEVER ANOTHER BETTA!!!! Never keep your betta I'm a bowl as it can cause blindness and may not have enough oxygen to support your betta. REMEMBER BETTAS ARE LAB

Betta's are cold blooded fish so they require a heater to survive. Warm water at around 26C (80F) keeps them healthy. Heated water is essential for their digestive system to work properly.

Get at least a 5 gallon tank with a heater (no filter needed) and give your fish a long and happy life.

Just because a fish swims doesn't always mean he's happy. And, uh, I'd suggest getting your fish out of the bowl. Being in bowls destroys fish eyes.

I don't really understand....Why it destroys fish eyes? Because the rims of the bowls disorients it's eyes and will eventually blind them.
