The bike is incredible, but honestly I could not finish watching the video because the music is LOUD and anoying. Would love to see it redoen with simple commentary, and listen to it run
There is a lot of minicycler no-brains all speed no control comments in here. Like "why not get a CRF150?" Or "Dude, put a CRF150 motor in it!" This is a totally trick DMC bike. And its worth a bunch because they are really rare. Dave Miller built some of the most trick minibikes. Cool to own one.
Dave Miller is a genious he had a Briggs and stratton lawn mower engine mini bike that would do 60 mph back in the day I knew dave since I was a kid and he made some sick ass bikes
That's a beautiful little bike. I had an XR75 back in the early 70's, back when Ward was using his XR75 to win so many minicycle motocross races. Ward ruled the riceburners with his little thumper.
i hot a problem i got a 80 xl80s and i put points on it but idk how to adjust them right anyone know a easy wat to do it and not taake it to a bike shop
I have a 1982 Honda xr 80, and Its all cleaned up real nice, but I was wondering if you new how to get the white *) on the seat to show up more. Its faded, and I dont know what to use to make is white again. did you just use spray paint?
Scott Steger, People dont understand the meaning of these old machines. It was a different time, people now can not understand. I grew up racing these old pieces of iron. Cut my teeth on an old XR 75. You are a Honda GOD ! Ride Red or Ride Dead ! VIVA Elsinore !
every bike i see that uve restored amazed me you must take real pride in your work. If any one dissin on it its because theyre bike isnt a fraction of that!

it would be perfect if it had the side covers in fact i wont buy a bike without the plastics
p38lightning7 2 years ago
@p38lightning7 thats how it was
Norgard167 2 years ago
still think it would look better with side covers but i bet it sounds really good with no airbox cause its more open
p38lightning7 2 years ago
@p38lightning7 the only reason they dident have them is becaus it would restrickt air flow cuz remember they dident have liquid cooling in those days
Norgard167 2 years ago
so the crf80 has one and its air cooled
p38lightning7 2 years ago
the motors are primitive and now they have alot better tech
