a tip for aliens for this map is if your getting shot at in one of those corridors run toward the marine in a circle spiraling toward them from floor to wall to roof if ive exsplaned that properly sorry i cant think of any way of saying it they will empty alot of ammo and you can then score the kill

i thought the pred was the king at melee yet when i get hit by a light attack and thne try and block it wont block quick enough cause i was getting stunned by light attacks by the time i blocked i was killed...and when i use heavy attacks and follow up with a light attack they somehow come out of the stun like instantly and block my light attack after they were just hit with a heavy attack...what the fuck is wrong with this picture here....my game hates me others get away with what i never could

Don't worry dude, to use the disc you just throw and change your aim, it follows the laser, But seriously the games unbalanced isn't it, the aliens slightly weaker than marines, marines can barely do anything and predators only die if they get stun locked.

To really understand how to use the alein and predator u need to get the game and play the stories... They really help... The marein is pretty standard kinda the same butons as call of duty

Ima post vids of how to use the predator and alien effectively cause i do have to say, i win every match i play on the demo, i want this game so bad, i wish i had it. the marines are no doubt the hardest to use cause they have no certain visions, but they are the second best with aliens being the first, but if ur like me and can use the predator how he should be used, then the pred is unstoppable. and holding y is usually how to heal except for hte alien, he heals just by not getting attacked.

kk first just so you know, to do the predators lazer beam just hold the shooting button, which is RT, and blocking is very usefull for this game cause aliens are always amazing when it comes to melee, but if u block then light attack it usually knocks them down and easy kill.

Ok letme help you out a bit. First of all, Y doesnt make you heal, it attracts marines in the story mode. If you dont believe me, when you get hurt just run away and then sit somewhere. You will automatically heal. Second, i heard you had issues with falling from the celing and alot of people have problems w/ that. all you have to do is hold the transition button. Oh and also to use your weapons as pred, hold the RT button and to cancel it out click LB i think....:)

its easy to get the hang of playing. the controls might seem wierd at first, but like any other game they grow on you. When playing as Aliens the crosshair turns with the floor so it makes it alot easier climbing walls. Despite the critsism from all the major game reviews, this game is a hell-o-fun and is a must buy for multiplayer drones.

Predator is so broken it is sick, all of their weapons one hit kill, the boomerang and spear have infinite ammo and they can use vision filters to see other plaers through walls and in pitch black areas. This game would have been better if it wasn't AvP and just focused on Humans and Aliens.

humans take some skill dude. yeh they have a motion sensor but thats nothing against a alien that sprints towards you in the dark and a predator standing still spamming shit. and if somthing sprints up behing you you are basicaly fucked. and you need to know when to block aswell dude. and you need to time your melee attacks justs well cuz with the machine gun it takes longer to stop a heavy attack on an alien than it does for the alien to do it. so it needs skill.

but its also the maps, aliens are good in some preditor in another and human in the there own map.

in indoor map whit small koridors and aliens crawling around evreywere your gonna have truble, same for aliens in huge outdoor maps, there gonna get ownd ( probebly since both humans and preditor have long range )

@rediculousguitarist Hissing is mainly used to make the game slightly more scary... if you hide on a ceiling and stay still so the Marine's motion tracker can't detect you, and his while there's an enemy directly below you, he'll normally swing around and either shoot a random bullet or just start to panic.

i have some ive never really seen a pred put mines every where but to dodge the disk just keep jumping from wall to wall then when your close let him throw a disc again do a the "leap attack" then retreat (if your good you can get a little claw attack in b4 you retreat) then by that time he will have got his disc back and will fire again dodge the disc with a wall jump and attack again.

I have the demo aswell, and im gonna get the game but, being an alien isnt that hard, just make sure to smash the lights so you blend in, as a predator use the dpad to select a weapon and press right trigger to ready it and release rt to use it. p.s. if you grab them from the front and they break free. press right bumper to kill them quickly. :D or hang off the roofs and smash them with your tail lots! >:D

When this demo first came out the game was AWESOME, because it was played as the developers intended it to be played. It was truly a scary and authentic experience. It was something different, and I enjoyed it.

However, after a few days people began to figure out the game-that's where it all went to shit. The predators would simply camp with the lock-on blaster, the aliens would simply finish move people and heavy attack+light attack combo, and the marines would block+light attack everything.

The 'Y' button doesn't heal you when you are alien, it only makes you hiss (useful and funny in the campaign). Aliens regenerate thier life. But holding 'Y' does let your character use a health stim to heal you when you are Predator or a Marine.
