  • 357 thousand views doesnt do this song any justice, its brilliant

  • 357 thousand views doesnt do this song any justice, its brilliant

  • @ucdelectrohead that's actually a lot of views, I'm impressed..... my favorite track off of a classic album, that beat is incredible and Masta Ace gave 100%, a top 10 song of all time in my opinion.... real talk

  • @ReligiousThugNerd You're right but HydraRancher still has a point. Just because they're different and the Bible doesn't approve of sexual immorality doesn't mean we should deviate from what is ALSO taught by the Bible (or any other holy scripture). What I'm talking about is even taught in schools. It's called equality. "Populations that are made deviant, foreign, and different." Even by Biblical standards, they're entitled to receive the same love and kindness you and I expect from others.

  • @ibthevivin Thank you for clarifying that. I do agree that sometimes all we can do is pray. I like to think that so long as people keep trying to seek a better world, we aren't apathetic. Apathy is a guaranteed recipe for social breakdown. By trying, however little, we at least give ourselves a fighting chance.

  • I don't know why, But this reminds me of San Andreas :P

  • Wilson Pickett - I'm in Love

  • I'm white as a ghost and this still puts tears in my eyes. Man can move you with his words. I think I'll kick my black friend's ass in gear so he'll finally get his GED like me. see if he wants to look for schools with me

  • TIMELESS.......YA Heard

  • great thts one of the best lyrics in a song ive ever heard

  • Sad but true..

  • SUCH an amazing song.

  • peace from Slovakia, trueschool 4ever

  • God this is so good

  • I wonder what this guy's opinion of Obama is?...10 times the corporate bailouts, more power to the money-printers, unemployment on the rise, selling guns to drug cartels, and a half-assed attempt at Universal Health Care that made it worse than before.

Edo G should write a rap about the years '08-'11 (if he hasn't already). I think he could give good voice to the American plight.

  • Masta Ace is my favorite MC of all time, but Edo G killed this!

  • we need more huey freemans

  • Real shit.

  • Thomax version is so much better!:) He takes amazing rap and makes amazing music

  • Edo G & Masta Ace = Real Hip Hop

  • This is sublime.

  • Everytime I listen to this song I just don't want it to end...

  • yea dis is coo

  • anyone know where the guitar is from? id like to play this and cover this

  • @rrugaqi1337 it's im in love by wilson pickett

  • This song was used so perfectly in the Boondocks. We need a party that recognizes the woes felt by colored people of all walks of life, women, Muslims, gays, lesbians, transsexuals, and all the other populations that are made to be deviant, foreign, and different =)

  • @HyrdaRancher Real talk.

  • @HyrdaRancher we also need a party that recognizes the woes of white people (since people on the internet are stupid im gonna clarify that this was a joke)

  • @dbutturini You may feel it's a joke but you are right. In some ways, the people dealing with the most hardships are poor whites in relatively low population density areas such as the Appalachian region. Unlike urban populations, they can't even rely on high population density to provide possible commerce opportunities. Not to mention that no one is fighting to help them. Most more fortunate whites would rather that side of their family not exist rather than help their brothers and sisters.

  • @HyrdaRancher ... , Y=WHY?! JUST WHY? I wish a world we don"t say muslims christians , black yellow white. Why black should have to be put with transexual. God created us, the same way. Since i emigrated i hate, this country who wants to catgorize everyone by attribute.

  • @marco77600 I agree that categorizing ourselves (people) can be counterproductive to the creation of unity. However, true equality depends on acknowledging other experiences rather than color blindness. To deny a need to classify is to suggest there is no difference. Such a policy would ignore already existing hate by lumping all persons into a "shared" experience that cannot accept there is hatred because there is no "classification" to actually hate. I can expound further if you'd like.

  • @HyrdaRancher I see your point and agree in part with it. My first statement was delibaretly extreme to make my point more aware. Yes you need to acknowledge but i dont see the need to divide. And I personnally think a lot of black or muslims don't want to be assimilate with transexual and so on, groups with other groups.

  • @marco77600 it also makes me think about this country where all the democratic party are all united and as soon they arrive in power. They are more divided than ever, and start to all hate each other! Acknowledge i agree but no need to chategorize, you would see my friend you could see i speak by experience!

  • @HyrdaRancher what about black, white and hispanic people? why name all the degenerates of the world?

  • @davebrochu88 I don't follow you. What are you trying to say? Who are the "degenerates" you are speaking of?

  • @HyrdaRancher I apologize, I made a typo. What I meant to say was WHY would you clump people like gays, lesbians, and trannies with blacks and Hispanics? I could never understand why minorities get included in a list of perverts.

  • @davebrochu88 I clump them together for one reason; I believe that sexual identity is an immutable trait one is born with like skin color. While the behavior is obviously a matter of choice, attraction isn't. I never "chose" to be attracted to women with short hair, cute faces, and small breasts. I never chose to be disgusted by girls have that "cheerleader" look. Likewise, I believe gays and lesbians never chose to be attracted to the same sex.

  • @davebrochu88 Further, why would anyone be homosexual by choice? After all, they have nothing to gain by "choosing" to be gay. They will be ostracized and cut their pool of eligible mates by 9 fold. In short, there is strong evidence that we can't choose attraction and there is no reason anyone would choose to be homosexual without the influence of immutable characteristics such as attraction.

  • @davebrochu88 Transsexuals raise the question whether gender is biological. Transsexuals claim to be born with the wrong sexual anatomy. Today, sex change operations are performed as standard medical procedures to "correct" people born in the grey-area (genitals are not clearly male or female) of sexual anatomy. From this, it is possible one may be born with a male brain and female anatomy or vice-versa causing a transsexual condition. Ultimately, like race, there is no choice in this scenario.

  • @HyrdaRancher I think that goes for everyone differnt.

  • @HyrdaRancher Your comment is a perfect example of HUMAN rights. Amen.

  • @skinnyJEANking2 Thank you =D

  • @HyrdaRancher That party is called Anarchism. Unfortunately most people are too ignorant to research it and automatically assume it means "Riots, Chaos, etc." when in reality Anarchism is freedom in it's purest form. Each one teach one. To each his own needs. People control everything, people help eachother. that's anarchism

  • @TheStupidDrunk Do you like public or private schools? And when was the last time you saw someone helping someone else they didn't know? Anarchism is such a naiive thing to say for a "freedom" party. There's nothing wrong with the system now except the people who are in it. If your looking for a way of freedom, check out Cynicism or Stoicism, that way there's no need to worry about the government. It just becomes an object that exists.

  • @HyrdaRancher lesbians, transsexuals, gays -_- wtf.?/

  • @jayjaykayode I addressed this in a previous comment. Look on page five of the comments for my responses to davebrochu88. That said, I can understand the hesitance. It is after all a hot issue regarding the acceptance or even willful ignorance of a behavior which conflicts with many religious belief systems.

  • @jayjaykayode Yes, freedom for all for freedom for none. Don't be so ignorant.

  • @HyrdaRancher We colored people have already accepted the dream as just that a dream. Not an aspiration or an ambition as Martin Luther King,Jr. wanted. We have forgotten about the fights fought for our freedom and social acceptance. We all thought Obama would be a resurrection for Mr.Luther but that thought was an error on our part. I'm probably saying this out of ignorance (I'm 17) or because I'm a foreigner(I'm Jamaican) but as Huey said "It's fun to dream..." I hope I am wrong.

  • @Sym081 I think there is some truth to that in that many saw Obama as a spiritual revival of the late Dr. King. I don't however feel that the dream is merely a dream. Rather, it is an aspiration whose path is unknown. Everyday, more symbols of the old hatreds pass into obscurity giving way to snapshots of that dream. The issue I believe is that despite the desire to end hatred and oppression, we don't know how. Regardless, people's hearts are for the most part in the right place. (cont...)

  • @Sym081 That I believe, is all that is important. After all, the Civil Rights movement really didn't take off until white America joined in the struggle ideologically. Though they never knew the sting of racism, they recognized it was wrong. A change in perspective is very powerful even if there is no knowledge of the road ahead. In that way, I believe the dream may be an aspiration despite there being no clear path to it. (cont...).

  • @Sym081 On a side note, I am glad to see younger people open minded and interested in discussing our world. Keep it up. As to your nationality, it makes little difference. We all are after all "Hue-man". Though we may be different colors and backgrounds, when proper empathy is exercised, we are all qualified to speak on what it means to be a person and where our society should go.

  • @HyrdaRancher Ey thx I just developed an interest in this type of thing. I see what you are saying an aspiration on an unknown path. Guess I need to read up a bit more. Thx for the brief history lesson.

  • @Sym081 No problem. Just keep reading and learning.. Remember you can learn from anywhere and anyone, even the most ignorant and confused. Also, don't get down if you feel a little out of place. I know the feeling of being socially conscious in high school =)

  • Respond to this video... This song is awesome man....Boondocks sent me here thumbs up...YEAH!!!!

  • @HyrdaRancher Not to crap all over you optimism, but I wish I could have that much faith in society. I can only pray that your ideals can appropriately be implemented. If so...we'd have a much better nation. Sometimes it feels like all we can do sometimes is pray.

  • @ibthevivin Sometimes, that is all we can do. Regardless of whether the optimism is misplaced, we will never reach any goal if we don't try. The Civil Rights Movement was less about overt actions that changed the world and more about a change in consciousness. Perspective is important and can have a very powerful effect under the right conditions.

  • Didn't anyone else record a song over this beat?

  • @lewyy10 ya When It's Good by Nature of the Beast sampled the same song.

  • I guess I might have been an "underground dickrider" for sometime, but I've come to realize that both styles of hip-hop have their own virtues.

  • @ChungFat4eva Respect, it's all about being flexible. If you pigeonhole yourself, how are you any better than the people you hate on?
