No. It was the County Sheriff's SWAT team. They were asked to go in by the Department of Education. The Dept of Education does have an Office of the Inspector General who ARE armed officers, but I doubt they drag many people down like this. I think it's a bigger problem that the Sheriff would go along with this absurd request than if the Ed Dept had their own brute squad. Decentralized law enforcement is supposed to be a check on federal power, not an enabler of it.

I think this story is made up; the guy did not seem upset after what had occured and having him sit in his torn underwear for 6 hours is ridiculous. Then the guy contacts the education dept and they tell him they can do nothing that you have to pay your bills. Give me a break; if this was real the guy would be mad as hell and sue. However, I think this was a mistake or a misinterpretation. Later evidence shows that this was a search warrant done by regular police, not SWAT, for the man's wife who just abandoned her family and committed fraud.

No. It was the County Sheriff's SWAT team. They were asked to go in by the Department of Education. The Dept of Education does have an Office of the Inspector General who ARE armed officers, but I doubt they drag many people down like this. I think it's a bigger problem that the Sheriff would go along with this absurd request than if the Ed Dept had their own brute squad. Decentralized law enforcement is supposed to be a check on federal power, not an enabler of it.

This guy has NO CRIMINAL RECORD, and the cops have NO REASON to believe that they are in danger in any way. Not only do the banks get bail outs, but you are brainwashed into thinking college is the only answer, when it is the sure fire way to get brainwashed or killed if you have the wrong ideas... just look at the mk-ultra shit at the UT tower & the CIA think tank in Austin run by CIA & hanous MK-Ultra franken-scientist Harold Puthoff or all od the microbiologists mysteriously dying! Not a peny of any student loan should be paid back.... it is a SCAM!

@unsheepled This is just too weird on way too many levels. Why is the Department of Education (I didn't know it was a law enforcement agency) using local SWAT teams as bill collectors? Why are local law enforcement allowing themselves to used in this manner? Where is the mayor in this? People wanted "change." Be careful what one asks for. You might get it. Welcome to Obama's America, people!

@TheGame2407 Research that I am doing is pointing to the man's wiffe for commiting some sort of fraud. Still, this is a non-violent crime and doesn't require a SWAT team. Then there was the gambler who was shot dead by yet another SWAT team. It seems like the various electorates should put the kabosh on such units. After all, how useful are they, really?

Agreed . it seems staged event to get students to pay up . the fact that the guy at the end of the Vid tells students to pay their loans or look out , this could happen to you , is the main indicating factor of FAKE event

@mumsworry1 i agree the gov't is using this to incite fear to get people to pay, but that doesnt mean the SWAT or the guy knew this was coming. Have you ever dealt with SWAT??? They are not actors, but brutal ignorant gorillas; they don't fake shit. They are all on steroids it seems & naturally overreact. I seriously doubt that guy would agree to fake that... would you? In any event it is rediculous & wasting money (probably more than the guys "owes" for his brainwashed education.)
