  • Great story

  • OMG! That's the mum fro Outnumbered!!!

  • hmm come to think of it, he DOES look like a penguin

  • Thank you so much for uploading this! Been looking for it for days!

  • agatha christie's book made me love to read and this is one of my favorite..

  • Ok - I love the suit Miss Bulstrode is wearing, but (as Poirot might say) the blouse, she is superb!

  • @CheshireKhat1 Miss Lemon wore that blouse in one of the early Poirot episodes. I can't think of which one, but I recall seeing this blouse before in the series and thinking it was a fantastic period piece.

  • @hapa122 It is a fantastic period piece! When I rewatch (not a word, I know) for the n'th time, I'll keep a look out for it in those earlier episodes - thanks for mentioning it The wardrobes persons dress the ladies in some great shoes, too. Ah, well...

  • Good lord, Hercule Poirot akin to a "penguin"? What adjective! Its outright outrageous if I may say so. Indeed!

  • of course i could be wrong.. but the voice did sound so similar.

  • @GenaWindstarr Indeed, and good ear! She did the Wimsey series and was Fanny Ferrars Dashwood in the movie version of Sense and Sensibility with Emma Thompson, et al. And appeared in a number of other wonderful tv series as well. :)

  • i cant think of the actresses name just now and i admit i wasnt paying attention to the opening credits, my bad i know, but that headmistress friend of poirots reminds me of the one who played harriet vane in the lord peter wimsey shows strong poison, have his carcass and gaudy night.. the voice sounds similar, thats what i noticed and im not sure when this show was made compared to when the pw shows were but looking at her i suppose it might be her a little older or made up to look as such?

  • I just finished reading the novel by the same name a couple of hours ago. Agatha Christie's such a brilliant writer! Now I can't wait to watch the movie; I love David Suchet's Poirot!

  • @ravenhaven14 hahahahahah I love what you put as the name for this episode!

  • agatha christie had the most amazing mind when it comes to creating a plot for her mysteries

  • I will forever love you @ravenhaven14 for uploading these videos <3

  • J'adore David Suchet .Il campe un magnifique Poirot.Je regarde la série en VO pour avoir le plaisir d'entendre son accent français !

  • This is one of the poirots that I cannot seem to find on Dvd

  • How bad are the girls that even the nun has to toss back one on the first day of school?

    lol

  • .....I love David Suchet! This is one of my favorites!

  • That doll thing is super creepe makings of a petofile

  • I don't what's more awesome - the greatness of t his episode or the awesome title you gave it. Good work, ravenhaven, and thank you!

  • I am in LOVE with David Suchet's portrayal of Poirot! It is perfect!!! I love his voice, hehe...

  • Cat Among the Pigeons! :) :) :)

  • just saying, the episode does not follow the sequence of the book, in the book he appears at the end.

  • The Princess Shyster (Scheisster?) - what a pretty name!

  • @Hendrikdevuile It's spelled "Shaista".

  • seriously, I can't thank you enough!

  • Thank uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

  • @AlchemicGnosis I agree. I went to an art boarding school during the eleventh grade... and it wasn't anything like what you see in the movies. The dorms were filthy, some of our guardians were mean, and I was in the dorm that was far away from the nurse's office.

The nurse's office was at the bottom of a hill, and it was a hassle to get there. Plus, one time, a girl hurt herself in dance class and she was supposed to be picked up, but they never showed up! The instructor had to drive her!

  • ahahaha PURRRRR in the title is so funny and yet so friggin cute too ;)

  • I love Poirot's walk. In fact, I love all his idiosyncrasies. They largely make the shows.

  • This is my favorite Christie novel. My first one too. I'm interested in how they adapted it for the film...

  • he does kinda look like a penguin lol

  • @satmtca, he sure walks like a penguin...

  • I PERSONALLY LIKED THE BOOK BETTER ,BECAUSE OF HOW MR. POIROT CAME IN, BUT THE WAY THEY BROUGHT THE BOOK T LIFE IN THIS MADE IT JUST AS AWESOME

  • best title ever .... purrrrrrrrrrr

  • Splendid title :o)

  • @AlchemicGnosis

Sorry had no idea! I grew up in the socialist Country that is why ! For us the boarding school were so exotic.

    Cheers!

  • finally i found the episode! thank you!!!!

  • whats this one really called?

  • @Alexxanndrraa

    cat among pigeons

  • I have never seen this one before, im sure i will enjoy it, no one can beat AC the queen!

  • Large boarding schools like that always make me feel like I did almost 17 years ago as a little girl- small and insignificant.

Thanks for posting, this is one of my favourites.

  • @PiperFreeze06
