Winchester Rangers! Not using that round for plinking much any more with how hard they are to find but they do shoot great. Very accurate round and awesome performance as a JHP
Lean forward when you shoot. It's pissing me off. LOL. BTW, either your supressor is bent or your threaded barrel is not in tightly, or is bent. Good Luck. Nice music and Nice Vid.
Amen. If I had a nickel for every time I saw someone leaning back when they shot in a video on this site, I would have at least five bucks. Seriously, if you are going to post a video of yourself shooting on youtube, at least don't make a fool of yourself by using extremely poor form.
The music is gymnopodies, by Eric Satie. Very early Roger Eno is similar (brother of brian eno).
Is it legal to use suppressors on hunting rifles in Texas? That would be a major advantage if so. I guess it would defeat the object, with non-subsonic ammo.
No, you have to purchase a threaded barrel to replace the original. Then you have to purchase the suppressor from a registered dealer. Lastly, you have to purchase 'subsonic ammunition'. Hope this helped.
Suppressors for .9mm's don't cost $1000. You can get an excellent centerfire suppressor from Yankee Hill Machine or Gemtech, two of the best companies out there, for around $600. Even the ones for .45's are under $700.
If you throw in the one-time charge from the ATF, it is obviously more expensive, but the suppressors themselves are nowhere near $1000.
This is correct. I live in Texas, and I own a GLOCK 17 (slightly larger than the 19) and the exact same silencer, an Evo-9. Very quiet. Not tricky to get, but expensive and worth it.
A lot of states let you own them legally - its just that people don't THINK you can so they don't even try.
By the way, 9mm subsonic ammunition - its just 147 grain. I like American Eagle for price, but even expensive 147s work just fine.
TERRIBLE SHOOTING FORM!!!! Roll your sholders forward, you lean away from the gun worse than my girlfriend!!!! For those below, silencers are legal to own in about 37 states. They cost between $230-$1300 but have to be registered with the ATF for an extra $200. They cant cross state lines without notifying the local ATF agents for every state they travel through. The owner must be in possesion of the Class 3 item at all times. You must be 21 to own a silencer in the USA
I'm a silencer owner. To the best of my knowledge, silencers do not need permission from the ATF for interstate transportation by the owner (so long as it's legal where you're going).
Also, when one does need to notify the ATF (moving MGs), you get paperwork from the feds, not local offices.
There are no Class III weapons. You are probably confusing NFA-regulated Title II firearms and Class III dealers, who deal in Title II firearms.
Again, you are incorrect -- registration is with the federal NFA Branch of the ATF, not state agents. Look up 18 USC 922(a)(4) -- it clearly states that one must only notify the ATF for interstate movement of MGs, SBRs, SBSs, or DDs. Not silencers, and not AOWs.
Yes suppressors are legal in Washington. Go to mp5(dot)net click Information / FAQ's click NFA Firearms click State by State chart of NFA Restrictions

the cool thing about the glock is that it has a silencer but... you cant really put it in a hip holster, and not make it dig into your leg
Masterdude658 2 years ago
That would be pretty sweet if the Glock was Full-auto with a 33 round clip.

I agree on leaning forward, however the suppressor only looks bent because of the browning locking breech action of the glock.

They are very legal... I got three Gemtech units from Wades in Bellevue.
Ask Wade to do the "Trust" agrement papers it is easy as buying a handgun.
It takes about 1 month total time to get your suppressor.

They are legal to own in WA, but it is a misdemeanor to use one on Washington state.
