This theme seriously needs to start showing up in SRW more. It just makes Mazinkaiser so much more awesome. It rules pretty hard to begin with, mind you.

Also: The Kaiser OVAs/movie are alternate-universe. Mazinkaiser itself is too in fact, so there's no real "canon" for it. Just roll with it and enjoy the FIRE BLASTAAA.

Karry. The first Kaiser, hence the OFFICIAL Kaiser, was Super Robot Wars F Kaiser. It was Nagai's ORIGINAL Concept of what Kaiser was. How it was meant to be. Meaning it is the canon.

shin getta's attack power is infinite... but mazinkaiser is indestructible. meanwhile getta robo can OPEN GET! to avoid things, or shin mach special/getta vision in 2 form... yeah. they'd cause massive destruction and never harm eachother. so it's just easier for them to gang up on the bad guys instead. :D

yeah a team up would be amazing but with the armagedon series they went into their own continuety and shouldnt be able to be a part of kaiser. And Shin is fast and infinite power based on getter enery reception. But Kaiser just needs to get em once and its all over. For many of shins atacks requires him to get in close and its inevitable that kaiser could read the movements of shin. But Chogokin nomatter how strong is still an element. Eventually at some speed or sharpness can be split.

so eventually If Shin had enough getter energy to go fast enough, kaiser could be pentatrated. But thats only when ur on the devine level playing field where many Giant robot finallys take place. But on normal circumstances of shin vs kaiser its more asking how long will it take for shin to last. Same goes for stone sunshine and aparently Getter spark that was hinted can disinegrate any matter to a point. it all just depends on the circumstances. Im not being biased here(as much as i love shin)

@GaleRenegade well I have read a Mazinkaiser manga where its describes that Mazinkaiser Its actually the true Masterpiece of Juzzo Kabuto the thing is that the Juzzo Kabuto that lived with Koji and Shiro and gave Mazinger Z to Koji was actually a clone of Juzzo the real one whas living in a space station created by mikenes and that there was a second clone out there thats is in fact Dr.Hell

Well, Mazinkaiser is clearly not indestructible. It gets damaged plenty in both games and anime.

The anime isn't the "canon" kaiser. The closest to "canon kaiser" you get is "Getter Kaiser", aka the one that appears in SRW F and F Final (or was it just F Final), as it was the first Kaiser, and created specifically by Nagai and reused in the future seeing it's popularity.

And excluding Gameplay restrictions (it can die), it IS actually immortal/indestructable, just like a Full Power Getter Robo can REVIVE dead pilots.

Most notably there were a couple of movies that crossed the 2 franchises over, the best known is the Great Mazinger/Grendizer/Getter Robo G which featured the prototype version of the Final Dynamic Special and whose theme song was used in SRW:Z (For the FDS no less). There's also the weird unofficial manga where Mazinger Z pilots a gianter robot that fires other Dynamic Productions mecha as missiles.

Actually, Mazinkaiser takes NO VISIBLE DAMAGE in the Mazinkaiser OVAs, sure its control stick breaks, but thats more akin to the systems themselves simply not being able to handle the massive strain that Mazinkaiser is....well putting on itself i guess...... as for its game incarnations, you cant exactly have an unbreakable super robot without just making it the most broken unit ever. so it makes sense that they have to make it defeatable.

Go nagai said they are equal. Personally I'd say shin Getter though. Its only used 30% of its power and it has the ability to move several times the speed of light. None of this is ever used though. Mostly cause moving that fast would probably kill the pilots.But in all truth....Getter is faster,more agile,and has a record of actually killing Gods.

You do realize that there are damage modifiers for different sizes until pilots learn the skill "Ignore Size Modification"? It makes smaller units difficult to hit and larger units take less damage.

They just have to fit everything onto one screen.
