  • Come to my channal!!!! You can see many interesiing video about our church!!!

  • Ορθη Δοξα = True Glory= Orhtodoxy

The Church is of Christ as it was passed down DIRECTLY by the Apostles...Efessos....Makedonia, Ierousalem, etc...After the split....further splits, and sub splits...divide and conquer...but Christanity, humanity has prevailed...times ahead ..3rd World War...etc..comming...but.and will prevail...and so Christ, EmmanuEL He is Comming BACK soon - Rejoice.

In the Beginning Was The Word

  • I found it on iTunes -- thanks. It is indeed a very beautiful piece of music !

  • So many positive remarks. It brings tears to my eyes. Thanks everyone for not arguing over religion. Thank you for just bathing in God's love.

  • Many posters have converted to Orthodoxy can you tell me what you believe?

  • May our Lord bless and protect all Orthodox Christians. Pray for us our beloved Theotokas, birthgiver of God. I too was raised as aLutheran and converted to to the Orthodox faith 8 years ago. No regrets at all!

  • Dear Orthodox3217 ... I tried to find the music on iTunes music but there are many Cherubim Hymns there ... is there a way of finding the name of the one used in your YouTUBE video ?

  • @cargnar

This pece is by my knowledge compoed bij Bortniansky and is indeed called Cherubic Hymn. Beautifull Music!!!

  • I have been Orthodox for over 2 decades following 50 years of Protestant confusion.

Orthodox worship focuses upon Judgement and our hope for God's Mercy.

That is why we Orthodox are put off by the frequent Protestant query "are you saved"? It is presumptuous to the max. Everyone will be Judged. Our ancient faith provides support and hope for this inevitable encounter with our Maker thru Confession, Repentance, Communion and our beautiful ancient Liturgy.

Thank you for posting this fine video.

  • Romans 3 - 22 !!!!

  • I know that God is one for everybody. God lives inside of you if you believe and love everybody inspite of their deals. I don't believe that there are many churchers and denominations in the God's Church. It's a great mystake that's why my Church is Jesus Christ, The Bible, and my heart.

  • This precise liturgy saved me once, back in 1983...

  • @GodOfOurSalvation My Friend, Pray to God and His All-Holy Mother to guide you to The Truth. Those who seek the True God and His Bride, the Orthodox Church, will never be denied. And remember, as St. Isaac The Syrian reminds us: "WHENEVER YOU WISH TO MAKE A BEGINNING IN SOME GOOD WORK, FIRST PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE TEMPTATIONS THAT WILL COME UPON YOU, AND DO NOT DOUBT THE TRUTH (p. 42.)" Trust only in God and His All-Holy Mother; if you do, your prayer will be answered.

  • @mariaxeniaallen P.S. I grew up RC and converted in 1984. Stay the course. As St. Isaac also says, "A GIFT FREE OF TRIALS IS A DISASTER TO THOSE WHO RECEIVE IT. (p. 282)"

  • @mariaxeniaallen thank you for this quote, so encouraging.

  • @GodOfOurSalvation I'll keep you in my prayers, God bless you

  • May the LORD guidee you in your journey!

  • @GodOfOurSalvation

ok but according to you what is the difference between Orthodoxy and Roman Catholic

  • @saivo12 The Orthodox Church is the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Study the history of the Great Schism of 1054, The History of The Council of Florence and the Protestant Reformation. The Orthodox Church is the only one true to the dogmas and canons of Christianity, as established by the Seven Ecumenical Councils, as well as their anathemas of the various heresies which have arisen throughout the centuries. The Truth is The Truth. Period.

  • @GodOfOurSalvation God bless you brother, may you find your way in orthodoxy, the Real Church of Christ!

  • @GodOfOurSalvation The Orthodox Church is not same thing as Eastern Rite churches.

  • @boideye This is true. The Eastern Rite, or Byzantine Rite is Roman Catholicism, dressed as Orthodoxy. Check out the history of the Uniate Church in Carpatho-Russia and The Ukraine. The Jesuits of the Roman Church duped the ignorant Orthodox into become Catholic and honoring the Pope as the Vicar of Christ on Earth, while maintaining the appearance of being Orthodox (the churches, the vestments, the services, etc.)

  • @mariaxeniaallen P.S. It isn't good enough to just say we're Orthodox, we need to learn The Faith, and that's a lifelong process b/c Orthodoxy is a LIFESTYLE, based upon the theology. We must have Orthodoxia, and Orthopraxia (correct teachings AND correct practices.

  • @mariaxeniaallen Thanks for the reply. I have been attending an Orthodox church for several months and it has filled me with joy and peace. I hope to become a catechumen fairly soon. As the hymn says "We have sen the True Light".

  • @GodOfOurSalvation I'm proud of you and the journey you're on. It's good and Jesus will fulfill the desires of your heart. With his life in your heart you find life in any rite. I agree with you when it comes to Eastern Orthodoxy - it's deep. You don't have to convert, because if you're a christian then you won't change your status in Christ. Just embrace the beauty of what God gave to us.

  • St. Peter is the first. 'Orthodoxy' is 600+years younger. Study the history before you leave Rome. Orthodoxy was a political move, they changed and moved away from Rome and were ensnared by the State. I pray they return to Rome and heal the world.

  • @lisztrestore You are wrong, as is your pope who claims to be infallable, no one is infallable except our Lord. Read the history of the apostles and you will find the truth.

  • @madison965 yawn......do your homework madison. The facts are the facts, and you haven't got a clue. Icons and beautiful music are all very nice things, but they aren't the reason for being a Christian. You also obviously don't know what the doctrine of infallibility means, so I can't take you seriously. You should try reading more. Merry Christmas.

  • @lisztrestore Perhaps it was a mistake the way I responded to your post. Forgive me if I offended you. The one true doctrine which Christ taught was love, if we engage in verbal arguments about this and that then I believe we flee from that. Again, forgive me and have a blessed Christmas as well!

  • @madison965 no offense taken madison. I meant none toward you either. Merry Christmas!

  • @madison965 As Orthodox, we should love all, as Christ commanded, even our neighbors. As St. Paul told us, try to correct someone. If that doesn't work, bring a witness. If that doesn't work, leave him/her to believe as he/she wishes. Those who seek The True God and His Bride, The Orthodox Faith, will not be denied. We don't have to argue; we agree to disagree and we NEVER deny our Faith.

  • @GodOfOurSalvation May God bless your continued path to the unchanging Catholic Orthodox Faith . Not sure if you have seen the article "A Catholic Hermit Converted To Orthodoxy" on a well-known roman Catholic theologian, hieromonk Gabriel Bungem, who made the same choice as you are contemplating, but might be helpful?

  • The oldest Christian Faith is the Roman Church. Saint Simon Peter was repeatedly singled out by Jesus as the leader of The Faith ( Matt 16: 17 - 19).

  • @asoingles2010

Please, this is a historical mistake.

  • Excellent !!!

    Thanks!...

  • sang this song so many times with our choir, love it

  • sorry to tell you but you people of the Vati can are the ones that need to be converted to XRIST.

  • @GodOfOurSalvation Why not continue in the One True Church? The Tridentine Mass of ages is finally being restored and as Our Lady of Fatima has requested, Russia will be consecrated and converted in due time.

  • I was evangelical protestant for 25 years, and have been Orthodox for the last 8. Welcome home.

  • @burtkeener wow, it's just amazing, God bless you! as far as i know it's such a difficult decision to make, was it difficult for you? i wonder what's the story behind... May your faith strengthen every day!

  • gosh this is beautiful..makes me want to cry...

  • Makes you imagine what a choir of angels would sound like

  • @Joanlitman, I think I'd have to agree to some extent - I certainly don't think the bumper sticker at the end is untrue, but in the context of the video it's a bit jarring and probably another icon or church scene would have been better. But on the other hand perhaps some people need to be jarred from their complacency a bit.

  • @DarkwingsWoW, This is often chanted just before the Great Entrance, when the unconsecrated Eucharistic Gifts - the bread and wine - are brought into the sanctuary. The "Solo Prayer" that you heard is the priest pronouncing a blessing, typically for the Bishop and the congregation, just as he brings the gifts through the Royal Doors in the iconostasis. The hymn continues after that, in a brighter style. So the music is all one organic whole.

  • A wonderful piece of music. Personally i could be without the last part with the solo prayer and the sort of bombastic ending. This clip could have ended after 4 min, still a marvelous song.

  • Све што дише нека слави господа

  • sounds like a choir of angels singing. So majestic, and comforting to hear

  • @Tupz244 ''choir of angels singing'' How do you know what angels sound like ?!?

  • @gregrutz beacuse his girlfriend is an angel

  • Gorgeous music.

If you like this, listen to Bortnyansky's Sacred Concertos. There are a lot of them, each one is in three parts and the middle part is invariably slow and as beautiful as this Cherublic Hymn. Most if them are on Youtube.

  • Thank you for posting!!!

  • Prelijepo.pozdrav iz Hrvatske

  • GREETINGS FROM GREECE

  • I know how you feel paula2571, I had they same overwhelming reaction to applaud a recent service at The Russian Church in London! It was my first experience in a Russian church, The singing simply blew me away. Best :)

  • It is the Cherubic Hymn that is sung at the Great Entrance during the Holy Liturgy. The Great Entrance is the procession of the Holy Gifts. This hymn shows a mystical union between those of us present and the angels in heaven who glorify God. In English : "Let us who mystically represent the Cherubim and who sing the thrice Holy hymn to the life Giving Trinity. Now lay aside all earthy cares so we may receive the King of all who comes invisibly upborne by the angelic hosts alleluia."

  • @ukerkater The song is repeated until the procession is completed so it lasts quite a long time.

  • Never get tired of this beautiful music.I dont understand the religeous side of it. please let me know how better to understand it.

  • @spookyomansions1 It is based on heavenly chanting to our Lord,so he knows that the mankind is truly loving him as a being of love and true immortality. Also, some prayers are sang like this,in this beautiful harmony,so that there is harmony in the material world when prayers are said,as well as spiritual. Some chants pray to certain hierarchy of angelic beings, because they guide human kind in times of great despair and they bring the word of Lord to us. :)

  • Thanx for posting this one !!! Heavenly !!!

  • fermons les yeux et rêvons....nous rejoignons les chérubins que c' est beau ..!

  • Love this!

  • i love the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. how beautiful and fulfilling.

  • @lmahlay

UKRAINIAN Orthodox church? Whatever gave you the idea? In any event, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is a chapter within the Russian Orthodox Church.

  • @Yarrski Why not the Ukrainian Orthodox Church? The composer of this liturgical music is Bortniansky--a Ukrainian composer. Yes the chanter does ask for a blessing for the Moscow Patriarch (in Church Slavonic) because that is the present reality of the canonical Church in Ukraine. Whatever you say, Ukrainian Orthodox DO worship in Ukrainian Orthodox Churches, throughout the world. No sense getting uptight and political about it. Orthodoxy encourages that expression of faith in all languages.

  • @ukerkater

    A. it's Russian Orthodox Church

    B. This singing represents one and undivided Russian Orthodox singing tradition.

    C. When Bortniansky lived, there was no Ukrainians. Only Rusyns/Russians with a common Russian identity. It is anachronistic to call him a Ukranian composer. He called himself Russian.

  • @Yarrski This obliteration of Ukrainian identity is an opinion that some Russians hold. Yes Bortniansky lived in the Russian Empire but he is ethnically Ukrainian. I call myself Canadian, but that doesn’t erase my Ukrainian identity. Ukrainians did not fall from the sky at some given time in history just to offend Russian sensibility. Ukrainian ethnicity is distinct . (cont)...

  • @Yarrski Cont (2)... Rus is not Russia as we know it now but a much more heterogeneouskingdom both culturally and ethnically. ..and Rysyns are not Russians--- . The 19th C. was the time of this development of nationalism throughout Europe as ethnic groups tried to define their distinct identities, but these identities already existed. (cont)...

  • @Yarrski Cont (3)And Ukrainian Orthodoxy exists, whether this notion appeals to you or not—its customs and traditions are unique. Many diocese are under Patriarch Bartholomew, although in Russia , the Orthodox Church of Kiev was transferred from Constantinople into the hands of the Moscow Patriarch (which had only been in existence since the 16th C.) in the 17th C. through very questionable means. (cont)...

  • @Yarrski Cont (4)Anyway, it is most important to be Orthodox , not Russian Orthodox, or Greek Orthodox or Ukrainian Orthodox. But it is important to acknowledge the right of people to worship and express the faith in their own language and culture.

  • @ukerkater 1. Rus IS Russia (check out the 13th c. coins of Daniil Galitsky (of Galich/Halych) that say Dux Russiae Minoris); "Russia" is just a latinized version of "Rus". Ukraine means FORNTIER LAND, it's not an ethnicon. 2. Rusyns/Rusins ARE Russians, Rusin is a noun, Russky is the correpsonding adjectives; Afanasy Nikitin of Tver (north-east of Moscow) calls himself RUSIN in his travelogue (15th c.)

  • @Yarrski Ukraine does not mean frontier land although it is common for Nationalist Russians to say so. In Ukrainian ( and Slavonic) Kraina means country. So Ukraine means "the country". In Ukrainian, border is "kordon" and kray is "countryside". At any rate, why does the existence of a Ukrainian nation bother you? Ukrainians are true descendents of Rus and Church Slavonic is part of our liturgical tradition, but Orthodoxy allows for expression in the vernacular also.

  • @ukerkater 3. Ukrainian Orthodoxy does NOT exist: the only canonical Orthodox Church in the Ukraine is the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. 4. The Orthodox Church of Kiev separated from the Moscow Church in 1458, before that there had been ONE RUSSIAN CHURCH, and it REUNITED in 1686. 5. Worship in any language/dialect you want, this is beside the point, but the singing in this clip is in RUSSIAN CHURCH SLAVONIC, not in the Ukrainian (South Russian) dialect.

  • @Yarrski Church Slavonic is not Russian...it is Church Slavonic. Ukrainian Orthodox Diocese exist throughout the world and we pray that one day the Kyivan Church achieves canonical status. It is a difficult proposition though given the power of the Russian Church.

  • @ukerkater 5. I don't care what identity you currently have, even if it is Martian, but you can't brush under a rug the fact that the Ukrainians are South Russians, and that there were no Ukrainians before late 19th c. The Ukrianian identity was engineered in the 19th c. by the Poles and Austro-Hungarians and imposed on South Russian by trhe Bolsheviks. You can't just rewrite history. Stop spreading lies and propaganda.

  • @Yarrski You clearly possess disdain for Ukrainians. Perhaps Russia is a northern manifestation of the civilization that grew from Kievan Rus (current day Ukraine). By the way, prior to the 19th C. there were no Russians in the sense that you are speaking...people identified with their districts...from Moscow or Poltava, for example. Nationalism is a 19th C. concept. As it stands, Russians and Ukrainians, though historically related, are distinct, each with their own language and customs.

  • @Yarrski @Yarrski I think that it's funny that you say "you can't just re-write history". Russia is notorious for it's historical revisionism especially through the 20th c.. Even so assuming that historical dates, characters and events can't be rewritten, interpretations of historical events vary

  • @Yarrski cont. 2..Your interpretation serves YOUR purpose of upholding YOUR nationalistic view. (I'm sure that you would argue that I am doing the same) Your view though holds the pernicious side effect of denying the existence of an entire people.

  • @Yarrski cont. 3...Don't think that the Bolsheviks had any love for Ukrainians in the 1920s by encouraging that the language and culture be practiced. Korenization was simply a tool for building the Soviet state. When Stalin realized that Ukrainian national identity was breeding Nationalism, he quickly put an end to that.

  • @ukerkater Is not Bortniansky. Composer is Chesnokov.

  • @ukerkater A, sorry, you are right. It's Bortniansky.

  • When my choir sings the Cherubic Hymn, we also make the end joyous and excited, but this choir beats us hands down! :)

Marry Christmas to all Christians ! Greetings from Serbia! <3

    Peace be with you! <3

  • That the Ukraine is another country is an invention of Westerners who wish to divide and gain ownership of Eastern resources

  • @vladdrac88 your an idiot.... that is all i am going to say.

  • @RoyalRanger136 :) This is no place for such arguments. I'll let history settle the question.

  • @vladdrac88 Yes, it's an invention of the Western Slavs, also known as "UKRAINIANS".

  • Leave the Pedophile Catholic church and come home to the real God of the Orthodoxy...

  • @pentogram23 thinkin' about it! Such beautiful liturgies. Ours is a dis-grace. imho.

  • @pentogram23 thinkin' about it! Such beautiful liturgies. Ours is a dis-grace. imho. I like those plain black cassocks too!

  • Just want to let you guys know we also sing this EXACT same song at my Ukrainian Greek Catholic church on special Feast Days when the Bishop conducts the liturgy. But I guess both the Ukrainian Greek Catholics and Ukrainian Greek Orthodox share many of the same songs and traditions.

  • @snowboarderdude It is correct that among other descriptions we are all also Greek Orthodox. But for the sake of precision, this is Russian Orthodox hymn composed by at that time Russian composer who was born in the part of Russian Empire called "Little Russia." Ukraine is a new phenomenon, so please act accordingly as we don't need any history rewriting here. Whenever I hear about Greek Catholics, I am saddened by the fact how close they are to the one true Church, but yet so far from her...

  • @andrejakomnen I beg to differ that a Russian only composed this hymn. Which ever church that uses the St. John Chrysostom that most often used within the Byzantine rite, this includes both Ukraine and Russia I am absolutely sure they all use that same hymn. I am not rewriting history in anyway whatsoever and it is a fact that every St. John Chrysostom Divine Liturgy has this "Cherubim Hymn".

  • Beautiful I'm Roman Catholic but i have a great respect for the Byzantine-Russian Orthodox tradition

God and the Holy Theotokos bless you

  • Интересно, а наминусили чурки?

  • Dmitry Bortniansky или Димитрије Бортњански.

  • kako se zove kompozitor koji je ovo napisao????What's the name of the composer???

  • Come home to Orthodox Church! IC XC NI KA

  • Futhermore, Heaven and Hell are not places they are both realms in which the soul is seperated from the body. In both realms God's presence is eternal, and for those who have been purified recieve his presence with joy, and those who are alienated from God suffer from the Lord's presence. The Gospel according to Saint Luke talks about this when Lazardius and the rich man are portrayed in hevean (Abraham's bussom), and hell.

  • Toujours un plaisir de rencontrer les chants de l'Orthodoxie dont nous sommes si proches et que nous aimons tant dans sa superbe liturgie

  • Greetings from France =D

  • Wow!! Which music is like our music? Which Church is like our Church? Which God is like our God? Изключително изпълнение!

  • - praise and worship expressed in song and music is a powerful weapon aginst the enemy , nurishment to our spirit and comfort to the soul. No wonder the psalmist repeadetly referes to this

  • Táto nádhera nás zjednotí pri rôznorodosti vyznaní, verím, že najneskôr v nebeskom kráľovstve!

  • Truly beautiful and inspirational! I agree with dankaptyug; this must be a small taste of what awaits us in Heaven! Thank-you for posting this and sharing it with us, my friend.

    Dan

  • so nice...

  • i just can't image how we are going to be singing in heaven. i think this is only a itisy little bit of heaven on earth

  • I love all forms of Orthodoxia! What an amazing faith.

    Greetings from Egypt!

  • @ExecuteToT May God bless you my friend. Countless Jews have converted to christianity over History. Our great Roman Catholic cardinal here in Paris was a Polish Jew born Aaron Lustiger. May you follow their steps and become a Christian too.

  • I love God, the Father of Jesus Christ, Yeshua. Amen I hope the Orthodox Church comes England and becomes more prominent, please pray for this in Jesus' name, and if anyone can please pray that God can give me strength I join the Army on Monday and want to make Him proud.

  • @dragongolds May Jesus Christ our God, be with you and give you health, may He guide your path, and bless you.

  • @dragongolds Amen to that Brother I will pray that the Lord keeps you safe and strong through your time in the Army. Yes, we are attempting to spread Orthodoxy to the Western World, but it is difficult to turn people away from heresy. May the Lord, God be with thee from many years.

  • Христос Воскресе! Hristos Anesti! Christ is Risen! Criste Ahsdga! Hristos Baros!

  • I'm not disparaging you, Biloxi Ron, but right now I would want to be anywhere except Biloxi!

  • This is telling you to turn your back on the errors of catholicism and embrace the true Christian faith of Orthodoxy.. repeant and believe.

  • @Milverton68 The only true Christian faith is not in any Church or religion but in your heart and in your everyday life. Hence every religion is right if it gives you support for living the way Jesus taught us to live.

    God bless you!

  • @anasimoncic Don't try to justify yourself in the heresy ("your heart and in your everyday life"), which is, if I may remind, a huge sin. All of our human being has to be rooted in the will of Holy Spirit (not your "heart" or your "everyday life") and to be fully complied with the Truth, and where will you find the Truth? Here, listen to IT! Welcome to the Orthodoxy! Orthodox faith is the only that possess complete Truth and that correctly displays the Faith that we received straight from God!

  • @chaunceybill I agree with You. "All of our human being has to be rooted in the will of Holy Spirit" But do You think God will ask You which religion You belong to, when You die? I believe this is not important, as long as you live the way He wants us to live. You can not prove your faith in words but in acts - in "everyday life". So tell me, is this heresy? However, all I want to do by writing comments here is, to tell people not to argue about religion, to let others have their own belief.

  • @anasimoncic No, I think the Lord will ask you if you were apart of the faith that he had established 2000 yrs ago, the same Church in the pages of the New Testament, that Church is the Orthodox Church which perserved the faith of Chirst and the Holy Spirit. The same faith that the Holy Apostles spread. The Lord wants us all to live as saints and to have full communion with him, that is that God created us to do.

  • @TheMikerussian To live as saints is what it counts - isn't that what I'm saying all the time? It doesn't matter if you are a part of Orthodox Church or any other. Or are you saying to me that I will not go to heaven when I die, because I'm a part of Catholic Church?

However, I like the Orthodox music very much and if it is possible, I'd like to have some sheets or at least names of any composers of Orthodox music. If you can and if you want, please, tell me.

    God bless you all!

  • @anasimoncic Stevan Mokranjac, Vladimir Milosavljevic.

    God bless you

  • @anasimoncic To purifiy oneself and to live in joy throughout eternity is the goal. Living in full communion in God included is living the life of a saint. Living the life God had created us to do. But it does matter if you have communion with God or not. And this is why I say that people who do not know God nor are purified by the Truth Faith are to suffer at the eternal presence God in the afterlife.

  • @anasimoncic

you are right, I strongly agree with you. I am Catholic, but I have friends who are Anglicans, Baptists, as well as Orthodox. Very often, I pray with them. I am a regular visitor to the Orthodox Church.

Ecumenism is our future. No matter what religion you are, "Where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I in the midst of them" Mt 18:20

  • @BETAMOX83 Ecumenism in its present shape and meaning is not a future for any Orthodox Christian. Holy Orthodoxy through its living head Lord Jesus Christ was the past, it is the present and will always be the future for us and path to the salvation. Instead of following false teachings, come home to Orthodoxy, the only unchanged Christianity, and seek salvation through it. It is beyond comparison...

  • @andrejakomnen If I'm wrong, pray for me, I'll also pray but there is no need of being offensive. The Gospel of Christ is a gospel full of love, peace and understanding. Rather show yourself love to your neighbor, this way show that you live in God's truth and love. I never said to anybody that his belief is false. If he loves Christ, loves people, God is with him, no matter what.Every person is a child of God, so if you love Christ you shall love every human being irrespective of his religion.

  • @BETAMOX83 Please accept my apology if I came across as being offensive to you. I entirely agree with your emphasis on evangelical love from the Gospel. But other than love there must be grace, and both are meaningless without Holy Spirit. Our Lord left us with Church (Matthew 16:18) in which Holy Spirit shall reside and we are responsible with preserving His Church in line with His teaching and with the Holy Spirit in which we baptize and take eucharist. That is why we insist on Orthodoxy.

  • @BETAMOX83 Ecumenism is religion of antichrist.

  • @BETAMOX83 --Ecumenism is our future to a certain point. The Catholic and Orthodox have a sacramental form of grace which protestanism doesn't have, nor understands. This, unfortunately, separates us to this day, and there is no way to undue this. Perhaps someday we will united as one.

  • @TheMenghi1

The way to reconciliation is very short and simple - to live the gospel of Christ.

  • @BETAMOX83 May God Bless you and the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ go with you. Amen.

  • Tell me how one stops crying! Oh how I long to be in Mother Russia!!

  • Tell me how Does one stop crying!!! With so MUCH joy in my heart!!!

  • Слава Господу Богу нашему Иисусу Христу!!!

  • Who is singing??

  • Beloved, compare the sense of Grace which pours forth from this Cherubic Hymn to the so called christian gospel music of the evangeical/pentecostal adherants. In this Orthodox Hymn is salvation in Christ; in Western faith thee is only confusion and false teaching.

  • Greetings from Serbia!!!!Слава Богу јединоме!!!Здравствујте,браћа!!!

  • PRIVET SERBII IZ UKRAINI.VO VEKI SLAVA BOGU !!!!!!!!

  • this is my favorite hymn in church!!! i love it when we sing it.

  • Thank you. God bless you.

  • I'm In a choir in the orthodox church and its so beautiful when we sing the cherubim hymn during the great entrance in the church !

  • Doamne miluieste!

  • INTRADEVER VREI SE ASKULIZI VESNIK

  • I love this version... I believe the last time I heard it was at a youth conference. Wishing everyone a blessed Holy Week and joyous Pascha!

  • Next time someone tells you we are out to incinerate the planet consider what the music says were after.....:)

  • This is beautiful.

Funny story..When i was living in Paris I went to a Russian Orthodox church there and the choir was just amazing and afew times after they finished the chants I would nearly start clapping. Then remembered I was in church not a concert. Never heard anything like it before.

  • @Paula2571 You hear only the coir, but you can also hear angels thei are also there!

  • bello & solemne sumo grado

  • really beautiful peace and great choir. thanks for posting and greetings from germany.

  • orthodox3217, please be so kind and tell me what dose this sign 우 mean in Corean alphabet

  • there is only one god to whom we all pray.

  • beautiful

  • thank you for sharing this piece of art with me !!

  • This is the most beautiful setting for the Cherubic Hymn I have ever heard.

Lord bless the Choir of Sts Columba and Kentigern in Doncaster, England, the servers, the people and Our Fathers in the Faith; George, Dennis and David. Amen.

  • Israel was made up of 12 tribes and Christ has 12 Apostles, each one sent to evangelise those who were to become HIS own members of His body. Christ Is the Head of HIS own people, not a pope or patriarch - as Orthodoxy teaches through each and every service. LISTEN intently to each word of everything that is uttered. All is directed "unto Christ our God". Come Home. The fullnes of The Faith full of The Holy Spirit is awaiting you.

I am so grateful God brought me home!

  • @alontas: This is your Church too and it has never abandoned you. It stands on the same place since 33 AD. As individual with free will, you may choose however you want, but this is much wider, bigger and more open than you may initially think. The invitation is extended to both you and your loved ones and even to your entire mother church, which once was like this. It's not about the limits, it's about the soul.

  • babyycat : I feel like you, and I am almost 52 yrs old. But I'm in love with oriental orthodox beauty, russian, greek, arab, rumanian: everywhere there is beauty and compassion. Maybe they are more useful in our world than logical reason and moral and meddling in social & political issues (i.e.: Roman Catholic Church). But, as I wouldn't want other mom than the one I have, I won't leave this church, though the grass looks always greener in other people's lawns...

  • @alontas I appreciate the beauty too, but pls understand that we do need to be involved in politics in the west. Why? bcus we have atheists and non-religious ppl trying to teach our kids their form of sex and leading them down paths of destruction. They've implemented laws such as abortion that scandalizes our society, we need to fight for our children's future and our peaceful environment.

  • @ESEME11 premarital sex is a path of destruction leading them to dangers such as unwanted pregnacy, stds, women feeling like they're whores, and abortions (which is infanticide),
