cont. if you take a pieve of paper make two dots on either side and fold it then both dots are touching. as for hiro the oaper is space and the two dots are tokyo and new york. so really hiro is bring the area he wants to go to right to the spot he is standing in.

guys hiros isnt really teleporting hes folding space. jumper and nightcrawler dematerialize. those two should have have a cool effect as their cells are actually dissappearing and reappearing. As for hiro he is only folding space. for example if

I was saying that the whole situation is totally realistic. It seams like they would go more for style than realism in a superhero show.

Your version looks cool and all, but I like the original version better, I like it simple like that, it would be unlogical (if we pretend that teleporting is possible), why the effects that you add, are there (but it looks cooler, I agree)

I'm with you, MDMart. If someone could really teleport in real life, it would be as if they just slipped into this reality, there wouldn't necessarily be flashes of light and puffs of smoke. Does look cool though.

nice job. what did u use for the effect. looks like a small smoke effect, or like a vapor. the original looks like opacity changes. maybe they didnt want it to be like nightcrawler or jumper.

first of all, jumper came out way after this was already made, second for the second teleport i did use a small mist effect after using a displacement map.

i don't think so.......there's a bunch of people working on the show, and the company is working on a bunch of shows. i doubt he does all of them, besides, can't someone occasionally do a better job than a professional? the last time that happened, was like 4 or 5 years ago with the first rvd....
