@allpasses what do you mean? I knew that the book was about a guy who turns into a bug, but didnt know that it happened so early as the first page. The character Gregor who lives in his parents house and makes the family money wakes up one day as a bug. He doesnt know why and instead of freeking out he is just ashamed while everyone else freeks out and he just lives as a bug while his family freeks out.. Its really emotional
I'm impressed that the book begins with the main character immediately changed into an insect - then the rest of the first chapter just rolls with it intensely.
