I think this version missess the original arpeggios and the drums. The guitar and specially the organ arrangement are good indeead, but I feel some lack of energy if you know what a mean. This version is a bit dull if you compare with the original song.

It's a good remix, but the lack of a kick it up a notch and adding drums really took away from the song. I can appreciate the way this one sounds, but I prefer it being just a LITTLE more upbeat than this. Not terrible, but it WAS a let down of sorts

@Maxpound That's unfair to say. I think it's appropos to put the amazing composers of Castlevania's music on level with a respected band like Avenged Sevenfold. I haven't listened enough to the latter to know jack squat about their music, but if they're anything like a typical metal band, then they're gonna be comparable to Castlevania no matter what, most ALL metal sounds dark, like most Castlevania songs.

@Markell1991 I semi-agree. DoS and PoR were anime in character art only. Everything else was still good and gothic like we asked for. If you look at the art of Charlotte and Johnathan in Harmony of Despair, they're drawn properly. :)

It's only like listening to Avenged Sevenfold, because Avenged Sevenfold's guitars are strongly influenced from classical music. It's called neoclassical metal. So is this song. Same goes for Children of Bodom's older music (which in my opinion is much more advanced and better than Avenged Sevenfold musically)

Appreciate it. Well I was just letting you know, because as far as music theory goes... well Children know their shit. Avenged isn't too bad, although I got tired of listening to them and Children of Bodom.
