@hydsta I dont think a prequel would look right. Look at how how much kiefer sutherland has aged from season 1 to season 8. It just wouldnt look right if your trying to do a movie that takes place before season 1 or something and he looks older than he should. If a movie ever comes out, we will just have to see if its good or if its an epic fail i guess.

Season 6 at least had some unexpected plot twists, showed how the gov't was breaking it's own rules in order to save lives, had another superb performance by Kiefer & the cast and everyone rose above the flaws.

The only thing that made parts of it suck was the gratuitous death of Curtis Manning & Bauer's family being terrorists. Plus, there was too much torture & action but overall, it was a lot of fun but Season 8 hasn't been as badass.

Yes, bring back Tony & have Bauer kill Logan!

Bauer has the whole country after him and he has no proof about Russia's involvement, wtf is he planning? He will probably need some help and since Renee and Chloe aren't available, I think he might call somebody from his past, be it Tony, Aaron Pierce, Mike Novick or even Wayne Palmer.

That's the main beef i had.

They were repeating the plotlines we had seen countless times before & it was having a huge lack of character development.

it was the actors who made it work & the action scenes were poor at best although the axe kill in the premiere was pretty good

Yes, I need to see Aaron Pierce in action. He's the only character who's been in every season so to not have him in at least one episode would be a sin!

Renee was an unneeded character. I liked her at first but they wrecked her character in this season. Also, Bauer was with alot of amateur SWAT people who couldn't protect America to save their life

I've always said it, ever since Season 2-3, the only way for a movie to be believable, Jack would have to die in the movie. That's the only way it could be done, either, Season 8 & the movie where Jack dies, or a trilogy of movies, and in the third Jack dies. I don't want it to happen like everyone else, but if you think about it, it's just the way it has to be. Otherwise, 24 the movie would just be a 2.5 hour episode. =|

Kiefer won't move on from this, 24 has made him a huge star, and the character of jack must be like 50, cos it's a year for us, 2 years for them (in the storyline) between series. He'll kick their arses if he needed a wheelchair or a zimmerframe. But I think the greatest worry is that it may not go out with a bang. to go out with a bang, he wud hav to die, and i can't see it happening, he is too skilled. Nina shud come back for a final showdown with Jack, we never found out who she worked for.
