Brad, I just saw your videos for the first time. Amazing transformation! The fast weight loss I can understand, but how did you put on so much muscle so quickly?
@cepevol - I didn't. I actually lost 35 pounds of lean body mass in the initial loss. I have gained about 20 of that lost lean mass back in the 4 years since. Partly its genetics. I have two cousins who are natural amateur bodybuilders. And part is that, contrary to belief, most mobile morbidly obese people have a LOT of muscle. You have to so you can move the weight around. So, my initial weight loss goal was not weight loss, but fat loss, trying to keep the muscle I had.
@cepevol - Yes, that was my initial weight loss between 2006 and 2007 over a 1 year period. But, you have to understand that I really did not gain any muscle at all in that time. I did, in fact lose some. Its just that I lost so much fat that was covering the muscle that I had that it LOOKS like I gained muscle when I did not. That is a BIG thing in bodybuilding. Being cut makes you look bigger. I did get much stronger, but I did not start regaining muscle until after those pics were taken
@RatedRkoz - I have never had any loose skin removed. What I have is still there. Saving for the 12k surgery to have my abs tightened tho (long term obesity causes the abs to stretch, affecting posture and core strength. It can only be repaired surgically.)

@bspencer74
Thanks for the reply, but I'm confused. I thought your "My Transformation" video showed before and after pics from a 1 year period. No?
