  • I wonder how the North Koreans would respond if they launched every thing they had just to get it all shot it all down like in this video

  • Ok and what if the warheads can manouvering same like kinetics warheads of SM-3?

  • Ended, one of "fake warheads" may be really not that fake, how about UHF Generator or so to say, Ultra High Frequency Generator, may knock-off any device that is controlled by outside source ( like this kinetic interceptor), cause this thin needs to be control by radar, that means it has antennas outside, but that's exactly what UHF Generator can make useless. As far as I know, war heads can have incredible speeds and can even maneuver and they don't need any "antennas" to get on target.

  • Just imagine "Big One" with 10 maneuverable 150 KT heads and about 50 fake ones, so about 60 all together, and then multiply that by 100 maybe, and they all will come at the same time...? It's about 6000 targets: so what these interceptors gonna do in that scenario? I think all this is big bull... , just to create false sense of security, spend billions of dollars of not our money, on missile defense system which in reality will defend nobody

  • ... May God have Mercy on His Soul ....

  • Ok nice and stuff but. What if the war head acctually exist out of like 20 smaller warheads. ??

  • @SMJeOma An anti-ballistic missile should be fit for that. Our radars are. The anti missile is a next thing. For now we've got the vision and use patriots. Holland should also invent anti-ballistics, not only to destroy those missiles, but also to destroy the source.

  • @Brulluhman We do? xD

  • this is an amazing video showing how satellites detect threats. It is a nice way of showing how it works. Yeah, I also agree that in case of some mechanical failure or other factor more than one interceptor should be launch.

  • They would need to launch more then one interceptor for each in coming missile just in case of failure.

  • im getting blasted with a microwave weapon does anyone know how to stop that or find the source

  • Just lieve the solutions to Holland. We're building a rocketshield.

  • @Brulluhman wel? vertel xD

  • I want a dd-x

  • Dam cool video!

One cant help but think though that shouldn't be my response when I'm watching the sales pitch for a weapons company... it's not all that cool really

  • I don't understand why the US tolerated N Korea for so long. Bill Clinton was a fucking pussy. The war with N Korea should've started in 1994, when they redrew from Nuclear Weapons treaty. But of course, there always had to be anti-American pussies within the US that had to stop the US president from doing what was right. The N Korean regime should've been put to an end during the '90s. This is what they should've done then, not to bomb Serbia and Bosnia. That was a waste of time and resources.

  • Rotational axes and laser/sensor-guided gyros ... Better hope to God that these kinetic countermeasures don't miss their targets ...

  • @YFLOInternational

Russian engineers stated that those systems wont be able to shutdown a TopolM ICBM coz it changes its trajectory in flight randomly which prevents the anti-missile systems to calculate a usable intercept point and also uses multiple warheads.

All-in-All this system is not bad, but you should not expect it to get all missiles in time. Remember israeli iron dome? its a great system but it still sometimes misses soo primitive grad rockets....

  • @Maverickx89

As long as the Russians don't sell advanced missile systems to unstable dictatorships everyone is ok.

  • This video made obvious to take out satellites first then go for anything else! smart! lol

  • north korea maybe... but china's gonna take out that satellite first before launching nukes =T

  • They played the exact same scenario in the movie "Spies Like Us" with Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase...

  • @leaualorin

Its not a weapon, its a defence system against existing weapons.

  • @leaualorin These missiles can't hurt anyone, unless they get dropped on an armament technician whilst being loaded into the ship.

  • We do not have any type of Star wars to defend United States... we are sitting ducks

  • @manny298 I sincerely doubt anyone is going to assault the US anytime soon, manny.

  • fake.

  • Comment removed

  • @aussersein um . yes and no. northrop is devloping this system for the cgx this is a pich vido for the goverment

  • @aussersein chek out thaad its on fucher wepons it is a wokring system now

here is the vido for it youtube.com/watch?v=W-e0b_Y4sJY

  • REALLY! well done video animation... very emotional.

  • the only thing missing from this video is the shot of north korea glowing in the dark from several thousand MIRV strikes.

  • Only in the US BABY! I don't mind paying taxes for this....

  • Of course the Navy eventually wants to replace the DDG-51 class in the not too distant future.

  • "A reassessment in 2007 means that the CG(X) program may be split into two classes, fourteen Zumwalt-sized "escort cruisers" and five 23,000 ton ballistic missile defense (BMD) ships. There has been political pressure for some or all of these ships to be nuclear powered, which would give them the hull classification symbol of CGN(X)." - Wikipedia

  • the decision on going nuclear is all up to the political picture of the future oil availibility.

  • ridiculous.

  • thats cool... but arent our current AEGIS/BMD systems good enough for missile defense?

  • @hitachiota , after some troubles in development, AEGIS plus SM-3 have proven to be reliable enough against ballistic targets flying up to 250-350km heigh above sea level, and up to 300km far from launch point. It is argued, by mathematical calculations, that a TAepdong would reach an apogee of 1000km above Pacific, out of the SM-3's range, so someone would like to have a "very high" interceptor

  • @hitachiota yes

  • hey stealthy, only thing missing is showing what N. Korea looks like the day after these intercepts.

The "glass lined parking lot" after we use that rat hole for target practice.

  • What kind of fucking retarded comment is that. No one should drop a nuke on anyone you stupid prick!

  • or create more wars.

  • you know what, missiles of DDG 1000 are not in the middle of the ship.

  • yeah, they are lined up on the sides of the ship. Very innovative, hah? By the way, this is the CG(X) not DD(X). It's the cruiser version of the zumwalt 1000 destroyer, not the zumwalt destroyer itself.

  • USA Tech FTW!
