The problem we ran into when my daughters were in college and had to live on campus was that we were required to pay for their meals in the cafeteria. My daughters despised the food there. They were not raw foodists, but they did try to eat healthier than what was before them. So we had to pay for the semester meals, whether they ate there or not. I think a doctor's note for special exemption would have worked, but that was not an issue for them. It was very frustrating.
