Don't get me wrong, it sounds good, but Meatloaf without Steinman is like Elton without Bernie...I really like the old team better. Nonetheless, Meatloaf is an amazing vocalist and performer! Seen him many times, and seeing him again in April.

You'll find the whole new album is quite different from the other 'BAT' albums. Yes, there is a departure from Steinman - and Patti Russo is only on one song (and will not be part of the tour). I find this to be the best BAT album yet - quite a statement from me, as I have been close to the band, through it's evolutions, since the mid-80s. Always full of heavy-hitter musicians, this is also a winner. Meat Loaf's voice is at it's best on this CD. Congrats to him for putting out a masterpiece.
