Currently running the 5440 eddy intake with 2x4 600 cfm with full msd ignition with the 40th anniversary box. The rear is a dana 60 4.10 sure grip with a 4 link. I'm currently waiting for the tubular k frame to come in and then the assembly process is going to start.

Are you running a hemi or a 440 based stroker. I I'd like to know what you have in that beast.

those hemi chargers and super bees actually did 9 sec qtr mile runs right off the showroom floor. cause the hemi's were nascar rated motors, when they wanted to run a new motor at daytona, the rules were you had to sell 500 cars to the public with your motor in it , thats where the 427's 428cj's and 429cj's ford made for mustangs and torino came to be, alone with mopar we got the charger,road runner and cudas, chevy had the impala SS the balwins etc...

they did not run 9 secconds of the showroom floor. the fastest stock hemi's in the quarter mile was the 1968 Superstock dart and barracuda's. and they ran a 10.5. they were the words fastest 1/4 mile stock cars until the 2007 Bugatti Veyron witch did it in 10.1

that charger probably has a 440 hemi with dual 4bb's those big ass scoops were optional mopar equiptment then, i've seen a few 69 roadrunners and 70 super bee's with the same large hood scoop and they were basically a special order when you bought the car. i'd say that charger is probably close to stock, maybe has a racing cam in it and long tube headers wide open and tuned from there,

Dragrace turbo bug 8.99 @ 157mph 1/4 mile, type that into search field in youtube. And there are other less radical examples with turbo and or nitrous from 1641cc-2300cc. magnesium cases,steel crank and con rods, aluminum heads and pistons i believe.

It has run as fast as 154 I believe. It is a 606" hemi. He has a fogger and a plate, but has yet to run both at one time. We are all racing tomorrow at Pittsburgh Raceway Park. Come on over. The car also has Caltracs now, but use to ruo SuperStock springs. Old School Pump Gas Street Car!
