Dell Inspiron Mini 10 is a perfect netbook/Mini laptop! It has 250gb hardrive, 1gb ddr2 memory ram (upgradeable to 2gb ddr3) , 1.3mp camera, 6 cell battery, 10.1'' screen, windows 7/Xp, easy to carry, good to do works. For gaming, it can also play games like counter Strike 1.6, World of Warcraft,...... but not the heavy ones like Modern Warfare, Left 4 dead.... But for what I've experience with this netbook, it's a perfect choice!

I'm wondering whether to get an Inspiron Mini 10 or an Inspiron Mini 10v. I've compared them, and the Mini 10 does seem much better. I am wondering if I could upgrade the ram and the 160gb? Please could someone point me in the right direction. ;)

a RAM upgrade slot would be nice on the mini 10...these days a netbook needs a 2 gig ram....do ur research dell....the main reason why i didnt get a mini 10 or 10v...NO DAMN RAM UPGRADE!!

This is advertising and nothing but. A fixed 1GB ram will turn off almost all power users, anything less than 2GB is a waste of money in this day and age.

Mic are always bad in such devices. You should to Guitar-->Amp--->(cd-out)---> pc. In this way you'll get the best possible quality!

actually...there are somewhere around 50 different models of these out there. most not by dell. Netbooks have become extremely popular within the last year. And they're not useless. They're for surfing the web and basically only that.

Obviously, you're oblivious to the current trend of Netbooks. Its especially becoming popular for students in college and university because they don't want to lug around a 6lb 15 inch notebook all day.
