The Arrival DLC should've included Ashley/Kaiden just like Lair of Shadowbroker included Liara. That way all the relationship scenarios could've been seen in ME2 and fans of Ashley/Kaiden and Liara would have been satisfied. Unfortunately, at the expense of Ashley/Kaiden fans, this did not happen. All the glory went to Liara and her unique mission while the Ashley/Kaiden storyline was left in the dark.

In the next dialogue with the Illusive Man, when he talked about Ash, I could've punched him through the quantum pair. People really shouldn't talk about her right after that scene.

Ash was my love interest in ME 1 as well ;) . I agree with your opinion on the ME 2 team; though, the only new character I liked was Legion. Bioware does plan to release more DLC to bridge the gap between ME2 and 3, perhaps we'll see her soon.
So if you stay with the human romance in ME1 and stay loyal to them in ME2 you get a kiss and a tantrum (Kaidyn's dialogue is the same) but if you hook up with Liara in ME1 then start a full on romance with Garrus in ME2, taken to its shower scene, bad music and Hug-a-Turian conclusion then meet Liara in the Shadow Broker mission you get EXTRA Asari loving, PLUS Garrus still loves you? (Yeah, my femShep did ALL that, she's a Nympho!) I think it's clear who Bioware wants Shepard to romance . . .
Biowware could produce a dlc mission with Ash like they made a dlc with Liara. In that dlc Shepard would prove that in his heart he's still an Aliance soldier (refference to Tali vas Normandy with soul of Tali vas Neema).

ash was a total b*tch in this scene. I spend the first portion of the game wondering what happened to her, I go to a colony to protect her ass and then I get endless grief from her. Pity you couldn't shout at her in this scene as she clearly didn't want to listen to reason. My choice was to forget about her and move on to Miranda. Hope ME3 gives me the chance to rub that salt in Ashley's b-s!

I still love Ash but I also love Miri too, along with Jack and Tali but I didnt pursue relations with them. Its going to be a tough choice who to be with in ME3. At the end of this mission when Ash left me me I felt like Shepherd did on here lol.
The conversation wasn't really the most romantic reunion ever, a little bit of tweaking would've done it good, but you gotta love the amazing voice acting they put into this. You can certainly feel the emotion and the bgm adds that sweet memory ambiance.
I hope in ME3 she gets a bigger role and the relationship is more present. It just sorta lacked for me in ME2.

I personally had and still have strong feelings for Ash, the romance in ME1 was extremely well done, and the emotional choice of either saving her or Kaiden and all the other things you go through together in the first game adds even more to the relationship.
Personally im hoping that the small role in ME2 is a test for all the people that actually love Ashley, and that we will all be rewarded for staying faithfull in ME3. There are enough hints to indicate the relationship definately isn't over, Ashley clearly still has feelings for you, the encounter on Horizon and the email from her clearly show that, holding her photo before going into the Omega 4 relay is the icing on the cake and hopefully indicates the relationship is far from over.
I know there are alot of Ashley haters, but i personally think she is one of those kind of characters you either love or hate, if you actually bother to take a deep interest in her you find that she is indeed a deep and well thought out character, and personally one of my definate favourites in mass effect, lets all hope for a large squad role and romance for Ashley in Mass Effect 3!!!

ash was a total b*tch in this scene. I spend the first portion of the game wondering what happened to her, I go to a colony to protect her ass and then I get endless grief from her. Pity you couldn't shout at her in this scene as she clearly didn't want to listen to reason. My choice was to forget about her and move on to Miranda. Hope ME3 gives me the chance to rub that salt in Ashley's b-s!

She acts like that because she hasn't seen you in 2 years. She gets fired up in the moment, she hasn't seen you in 2 years, she thinks your dead, she hears reports your not dead, she thinks you are running from her, she felt like you led her on, and she really just couldn't handle it all at once to see you with Cerberus and because you have been dead for 2 years, it feels like only 2 weeks has gone by, which is why you talk to her like nothing has happened. I stayed true to her throughout ME2

In mine opinion Ash is a traitor! She schould accept Shepards situation after all that they've been through. Only Garrus and Tali remained loal! They are true freinds (and good option for romance. I romanced Tali)

I still love Ash but I also love Miri too, along with Jack and Tali but I didnt pursue relations with them. Its going to be a tough choice who to be with in ME3. At the end of this mission when Ash left me me I felt like Shepherd did on here lol.

The conversation wasn't really the most romantic reunion ever, a little bit of tweaking would've done it good, but you gotta love the amazing voice acting they put into this. You can certainly feel the emotion and the bgm adds that sweet memory ambiance.
I hope in ME3 she gets a bigger role and the relationship is more present. It just sorta lacked for me in ME2.

I personally had and still have strong feelings for Ash, the romance in ME1 was extremely well done, and the emotional choice of either saving her or Kaiden and all the other things you go through together in the first game adds even more to the relationship.

Personally im hoping that the small role in ME2 is a test for all the people that actually love Ashley, and that we will all be rewarded for staying faithfull in ME3. There are enough hints to indicate the relationship definately isn't over, Ashley clearly still has feelings for you, the encounter on Horizon and the email from her clearly show that, holding her photo before going into the Omega 4 relay is the icing on the cake and hopefully indicates the relationship is far from over.

I know there are alot of Ashley haters, but i personally think she is one of those kind of characters you either love or hate, if you actually bother to take a deep interest in her you find that she is indeed a deep and well thought out character, and personally one of my definate favourites in mass effect, lets all hope for a large squad role and romance for Ashley in Mass Effect 3!!!

Ashley did seem rash on why Shepard didn't contact her. He couldn't!
I read the apology letter. Her voice is just way too doubtful for me to wait. If she can't trust me, then I would be wasting my time, even if her reasons are well-intentioned.
Besides, I read that there won't be character carryovers for ME3. That sucks!
