I abso-fucking-lutely love this song! It's just perfect for entire Heavy Rain, especially The Old Warehouse. The first part, to 0:51, could be when the character is entering the warehouse and looking for Shaun. The next part, to 1:23, could be played while the player is doing CPR. And the rest of the song - when we start to deal with Shelby.

I could imagine Heavy Rain being told from the past tense. Each character would be telling the story from a perspective as if it already happened, as if reflecting back on their choices. As the game goes along, their monologues change.

The reasoning to his response is it wasn't third-party/licensed gaming groups that backed these titled. It was the companies that make the games themselves. Halo, Perfect Dark Zero, and a few other titles published by Microsoft have stayed Microsoft since they launched, as have several Sony titles that I can't specifically think of right now.

I totally agree with you, most games have terrible plots. But I still think that Heavy Rain has a mediocre plot by film standards and shitty gameplay by video game standards.

The "game" does not make use of the medium's advantages, it is less a game but more an interactive film.

I concur that MW2 has a bland plot, but atleast it is fun to play.

In response to your last question; I watched this trailer because it is good and sells the game well, I wish the same could be said of the game.
