Their older albums deal with personal conflicts, and gradually ease into stuff about other people and society, Warning almost sounds a little political. I have all albums of Rise Against and Green Day. they are both Punk Rock, Yes rise against is more hardcore than green day but it is still punk rock. Punk rock is fast, hard-edged music, typically with short songs, stripped-down instrumentation, and often political, anti-establishment lyrics. BOTH bands have that. Their new album may sound more mainstreamish but it does still maintain punk.
