I've seen this movie at least 3 times in the past, and yet every time, the kissing scene was fast-forwarded because I felt embarrassed about it for some reason...it was the first western movie I got introduced to and I loved it so much that I had to watch it consecutively.
I've been to both of the Busch Gardens that were around back in the day. The one in Tampa and the one in Williamsburg. The one in Virginia was called the Old Country as a theme as I remember. It had a Germany section and I saw the actors/actresses doing this number and a woman was balling her head off. Well, not literally but, you could tell it got to her. It was a nice rendition. Thanks for this one, as well.
when i was young, my elder brothers used to crow over me because they would be allowed to see movies that i wasn't. When i was around 12 they once mentioned the name ''sound of music''. It so happened that the next day they showed us this movie in school. I simply loved. And that evening i joined my brothers in their talk about this movie!!! Boy, weren't they suprised!!!!!!!
It's good, but doesn't the second time around start a little too early? It doesn't start with Edelweiss...started with small and white, which is kinda weird.
this is awesome! I'd been looking for a nice instrumental of this, it's such a lovely song and one of my favorites since I was a child. Thanks so much!

Sometimes musicals are referred to as "shows." Like, "a Broadway show." Hope this clears up any confusion. *^_^*
