Love how sister tries to help out. Very cute. Have you ever tried waking her up before you have to get her up? That way your not rushing out the door and she will feel that she has a bit of control over her little world. Giving warnings like "Okay we have to go in 5 minutes." Can make a child be a part of things. Its all about giving them choices.
@CatpurrRobertaBobbi Yes, we've learned over the years that she needs a certain amount of control. In this video she wanted to be in her Christmas dress -- she's always been VERY particular about what she wants to wear and when, and I've learned very quickly that that's ONE battle I will let her win! Luckily for us she is very proper -- won't wear any dresses that are not below her knees, so so far we just let her choose within reason :)
@TheAmazingEuph We unfortunately have been lax with speaking Mandarin with them, but that's my native language and also my husband's. However, his is not as fluent so we talk in English most of the time.
