What a great series! Thank you for taking time to communicate in a clear manner how to operate this camera well. I watched the AUDIO (12) portion first as that is where we've been having problems, and have since watched all of the tutorials and feel very confident and inspired to take the next steps. I really appreciate these videos. Thanks.
I have been finding that my camera has audio issues my levels in the viewfinder leap from green to red even though on playback I am not getting distorted sound.
On checking in fcp the levels are completely safe but are reading red in the camera - most un nerving any thoughts ?
I encounter a major problem with the audio although following the instructions. In MP4 mode there is an audio problem, when the files are transferred to Adope Premiere Pro CS4. There is a sudden noise, where the sound peaks and the bars jump from the green (good sound) to the yellow area (noise). When the video is replayed on the JCV GY-HM100 the sound is perfect. It is also perfect, when the VLC Media player is used to replay video after the files have been transferred from JVC to my PC.
