This is Clayton James. I just wanted to check out some of the comments on here, and I have to say I'm pretty pissed. I am 16 now and don't sound anything like that anymore. I can play SRV and Jimi Hendrix lick for lick. And o 1zeidler, you need to get a fuckin life instead of bitching about a video made by a 12 year old. I haven't come across any videos of you playing blues on here yet, so, whenever you man the fuck up and start doing something worth a shit, let me know.
nice, i would say i'm about the same as him skill-wise, but a different style of blues altogether... i've also been playing six months and i am 13... it's nice to see such a proud dad.. my daddy ain't like that..
It's neither an Epiphone or a Gibson. It seems to be a Jay Turser Les Paul Copy. Note the less curved cut away horn, the shape of the headstock, the truss rod cover and what looks like 24 frets. So yeah just wanted to get that out there.
BTW I checked out your vids. Nice job! and I love the strat, I own one myself. Keep up the good work and don't forget: BLUES IS ALL ABOUT THE FEELING!
Hey you dumb-ass who said nobody listens to blues anymore ----pull your head out of your ass---and listen ----the blues are alive and well ,the blues will NEVER die --maybe you just got to have a little class to enjoy it.
You might want to relax on your language, man. I'm all for the blues, but I think many agree with me when I say you don't need to spoil the appreciation for it with bad talking on someone else, no matter what they said. It gives the blues a bad name.
Grandad and Grandson moment. Awesome video thanks for sharing. This kid must see gold when he see's his grandpa. Tell him that I never had one and he is very lucky, very very lucky. God bless
Thanks for that....he IS very lucky....he told his Grandpa the other day that when he goes out on the road after he grows up, that Grandad would be on stage with him....I told my Dad that we may have to wheel him up there when he's 98, but he'd be there!!! Thanks again for the positive remarks!!!!
You'd be surprised. Look at John Mayer. He's a modern famous artist, and guess what he plays :D. There are others out there.
Also, a lot of kids these days enjoy classic rock and blues and all sorts of non-contemporary music too, you know? I'm 17 and I get into all of it a lot! So do many kids I know.
Thanks!!!! He's really good now....been playing for a year & has come out of his shell.....really gets into it!!! That's my Daddy singing....he was professional for years & years....I'm proud of both of them!!!

blues is an extremely easy genre to learn. This kid and band has no talent. Try playing some Jazz.
