  • この映像でギター曲のCMがあったはずなんだけど、曲名とアーティスト名判る人いたら教えて!スローバラードでsatrianiやvaiみたいな感じ

  • @bladerunnertte I supposed I was the CM song ゙ key target in this video, I know if one song and artist name? De Suroha feel like satriani and VAI- google translate

  • i wanna see guiter version ecripse cm video.that slow barrad that music is satriani-vai or steveins maybe.

  • You can't find another car like its used to be,the more technology the more electrical problem,I been with mitsubishi for soo many years since 1984 plus I also a technician from Mitsu, and what I see all this electronic technology is nothing but a cacamimi BS.If you lazy than spend on new technology but don't cry when things break or complain about technology,or technician can't fixed your problem ,because this technician is not an engineer or manufacture product..this tech don't get paid enough

  • To clarify everyone in here, sometime if someone type a wrong letter or numbers in here why ,are you peoples can't comprehent and correct on your own mind ,YES I rather drive this vehicle for another 20yrs ,rather than buy another vehicle full of problem and plus full coverage insurance and no accident, plus bank interest not require, also its belong to me,rather spend on those moneys to paid all those ,I used that moneys to get me another parts and drive its again,

  • Nice

  • And mine still runs, all stock, 200k on it, with factory turbo. :D all u owners who say they suck can't maintain a turbo car.

  • @Sasori327, Yes. It was Mitsubishi Motors' first car that was exported to Japan. MMNA still exports the Illinois-built Eclipse mostly to the Asia-Pacific region.

  • @johneddy98033, they stopped exporting the Eclipse to Japan starting with the 4th Generation.

  • wait, so eclipse was sold in japan?

  • @Sasori327 Eclipse it A JDM car Its just that mitsubishi Had a deal with Eagle and chystler and it made a 50/50 Half japan half American but regularly a Jdm

  • @KeidNaytee Thats completly wrong. The eclipse was design, asmebled and built in america. The 1g eclipse was imported to japan. The only eclipse to ever have units made in Japan is the 3g spyder eclipse. The only right hand drive eclipse ever.

  • @Clesarie so why does the Vin Number say J insted of 1 (J Stands for Japan) (1 stands for the states] and isnt mitsubishi really supposto be jap ?

  • @KeidNaytee Because they vended them for japan. Just like the european version.

Mitsubishi is one of the few car companies that has multiple branches making cars. Mitsu currently as a us and a Japanese division. They use to also have an austrilian version too.

  • Eclipse was the very Mitsubishi Motors vehicle built in America. They still build the latest generation model in Normal, Illinois.

  • garbage

  • @cotequadsport haha. okay.

  • kto mil kiedys takiego eclipsa to byl gosciu

  • Got to love old commercials...

  • not really... (for ecureflash) all you have to do is tune, starting with the given base map. (for megasquirt or fully tunable) you have to build a map from scratch, on top of building wiring harness, installation, etc.

  • the Celica All-trac is better... lol

  • @lazyboy2oo6 no

  • ooo sexy XD

  • Comment removed

  • My dad had a 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST. Although gearheads rank about DSM's all the time, bitching about the "crank walk" problem, that car was SUPER reliable, the only things he ever had to do were change the oil, the brakes, and maybe the spark plugs once. That was the car he put my baby seat in, and the car he drove for 17 years until the turbo blew, and he was so scared that he totalled it. He was the sole owner, and it broke both of our hearts. I hope to find one just like it someday.

  • Good stuff

  • makes me want to buy one now. xD

  • im looking for the silly commercial for the eclipse with the girl breakdancing in the passengers seat i think im almost there

  • it looks like a typical 90's car

  • The voice sounds like a porno video ahahahahahah 90s man 90s

  • I still drive my Eclipse GS turbo since first came out january 1989,bought it for $14,800 ,no power window or cruise control, and now 675k miles on speedo, and will carry on to the next 20 more years...Love my baby 4g53 forever

  • 675k miles are fukn serious????

  • Yes buddy ,5 clutch replacement ,2 clutch master,2 slave cylinder,4 set front rotors and 2 rears,5 set of valve cover gasket ,5 thermostat,4 alternator,2 starter,3 set of brake line hoses,1 ECU,and 10 timing belts w/idle belts and other, but motor and transmission is keep going, aaaa.... I forgot also 1 clutch fork and other clips.......Have love to drive this car around the world if I would have a chance...LATER

  • well 675k miles you almost have gone around the earth... lol you've spent like 30 grand on th car, you have to give it up man =)

  • @kade631

just to clarify, the distance around the earth is 30,000 miles, so his eclipse has went around the earth approximately 22 times.

  • Eclipse have 4G63(150hp) engine and 4g63Turbo engine (195hp)

    4G53 was in Starion..

  • nop eclipse gs got 140hp-eclipse gs-t got 190hp-starion got 175hp ,and I was going to buy Starion in Oct 88,but instead I waited for eclipse to come than bough its for 14,800 ,and the Starion @ that time was 19,800 with everything and automatic

  • GS 1G got 150 hp GS 2G got 140 , GST 1g 195hp , GST 2g 215hp

  • the eclipse never came with a non turbo 4g63 the non turbo was a 420a a Chrysler and Mitsubishi motor

  • @xXfordpowerXx yes they non turbos did come with 4g63,1g gs some did, and usdm 2g's alll have em

  • @techdeckpwns no it doesn't u dont know what u r talking about

  • @xXfordpowerXx

1G have 4g63 non turbo 150hp6-7 bolt and 4g63T 6bolt and 7 bolt after 1992 , I know because I am driving it...2g has 4g63 non turbo for Europe and 420a non turbo for USA and 4g63T 7 bolt for Europe and USA...

Maybe I should give you same pics??

  • @xXfordpowerXx i dont know what im talking about?

even kruxzek184 agreeing with me, you probaly cant even tell a talon from a laser

  • @xXfordpowerXx Yes, he does know what he is talking about. 1990 to 1994, available engines, 1.8l non-turbo, 4g63 2.0 non-turbo, 4g63t 2.0 turbo. 1995-1999, 420a 2.0 Non-turbo (states/Canada only) 4g63 2.0 non-turbo (LHD Europe export only), 4g63t 2.0 turbo, 4g64 2.4l SOHC non-turbo

  • @thomcasey2005 whats the fastest engine i wand to buy 1

  • @ike111111 the fastest engine would be the 4G64 with a DOHC head from a Lancer Evolution VIII (being that the 4g64 was a SOHC version of the 4G63, with forged internals!!!), along with an upgraded turbo from the standard Mitsubishi Turbo the Big 16g TD05, the Greddy TD05, which makes more power and spools faster... using the handy ecureflash, 400hp is easy to make

  • @lazyboy2oo6 take that back, the td05 big 16g is only good up to 380hp... so the td06 28g is much better

  • @lazyboy2oo6 thanks mate

  • @ike111111 i should have kept my 02 Eclipse GS with the 4G64... it would be the fastest import in my town... but i went an entirely different route, and spent money on ALL the wrong things

  • @lazyboy2oo6 i wanna start a Japanese import service in the netherlands and tune those cars you can do a lot here. it really is a shame for your 02 eclipse its a awesome car. i don't know what it it is but japanese sport cars where always an interest for me .

  • @ike111111 i know drive a 1992 Toyota Celica GT-Four... those are some really neat cars... and will always have more potential than the old FWD Elipse I had, its just more expensive to tune, but i love the GT-Four

  • @lazyboy2oo6 i know its a very nice car.

but my favorite car is a earlier mazda RX-7 they say those cars have a lot of potential 2 but its rotor moter. it has his problems but it has more power.

  • @ike111111 yea... those rotary engines have their problems, more evident than in other cars... but they sure do payoff when you get it going right. On my GT-Four, i'm going with the Mitsubishi Turbo the TD05 Big 16g, doesn't spool as the Greddy TD05, but the same size and half the price of it. if you have an eclipse, i recommend the same for a typical setup

  • @lazyboy2oo6 what is the price of an TD05 Big 16g?

its quite hard to do an engine swamp 2. my brother had a golf1 and tried to engine swamp it whit an golf 2 engine and he ruined the golf1 in the proses .

the things i can do myself i will do myself . and some help of my brother maybe.

and if i get in trouble i will get a tuning garage to help me.

  • @ike111111 you can find a big 16g td05 online and already built for 600 USD, compared to greddy's comparable 1200 USD price tag. on ebay, you can actually find one for 200 USD w/o the compressor housing, and another 150 USD for the compressor housing. tuning is the hard part, i don't know if those eclipses have a stock tunable ecu, which i think it does... you can use ecu reflash, that is a program that you can use to tune using a ecu to usb, but if not you might have to use a megasquirt ecu

  • @lazyboy2oo6 are those programs hard to use?

  • @thomcasey2005 i like how you say states canada only, when eclipses were only sold in the states and canada... the eclipse was at heart made by daimler-chrysler. and many cars of that company share the same engines, a variant of the 4g64 was in the Dodge neon, as well as a turbo variant was in the PT Cruiser, even with a turbocharged option. but the 4g63 series was more of a mitsubishi derived engine being that the 4g63t is was the engine used in the Lancer Evolution

  • @lazyboy2oo6 Hate to burst your bubble, but the eclipse and talon were exported to LHD European countries. Search on YouTube you will see them in Germany and such countries. When the 2g came out, all only had the 4g63 in n/t and turbo form for europe

  • @thomcasey2005 yea, my fault... i thought it was american market cars exclusively... but now just realized they were LHD market cars... my bad

  • @ltp9735 4G63 you mean...

  • @ltp9735

you should tell that to the toyota lovers!!!!!

  • @ltp9735 Fial

  • @ltp9735 4g63*

  • @ltp9735 4g53? Ummm 4g63.....

  • @Clesarie wrong typing number, key board get stuck

  • yes is 4G63T with 6 bolt crank fly wheel, and not 7 bolt crank flywheel.

  • @ltp9735 Yeah I know I was just making fun of your typo :P I've owned a 2 eclipses now. A 1997 Gs-t and a 2007 GT. Love me some Eclipse. I'll eventually own a GSX 1g also. Its gonna be hard for me to ever convince myself that the 3g isnt a steaming pile of shit.

  • @Clesarie ..Well like I said,I was going to give this vehicle to my son 5yrs ago,but he decided to buy Honda Si 2008,not just because of that only I give all the news parts in the vehicle so he could replaced from engine to electrical, brandnew ,both of my son don't wanted..now they are messing around with Honda and Acura, something is free for them they don't wanted, they rather give their moneys to the bank and insurance full cover for next 5yrs,I don't trust techonoly now a days

  • @ltp9735 Im not a honda fan at all but the Si is a pretty reliable car thats moderately fast. What they probably dont know is that your car will spank the shit out of it ever time. If you had a 2g im sure one of them would of wanted it. 1g just doesnt have any sex appeal to this younger generation.

  • wow the clutch dump at the end with all the tires digging is sweet ass...

  • After seeing this i miss my Talon so much

  • I just bought one 2 months ago and glad I still have it I was about to sell it.

  • ecrips xD

  • 1g rules all

  • Yeah, right, sure. What you driving again??

  • a 1994 ford f-150

  • i got my 1990 Eagle Talon TSI with $1500 of stereo equipment, core racing rims, and only paid $2500! i love it! it is soooo fast!

  • is it the tubo version? and if its black its the perfect ride!

  • well TSI is the turbocharged and intercooled all-wheel drive version so yes. and its all black with black rims :)

  • if it is tsi turbo intercooled fwd black with black rims ya nice ride sounds like my eagle talon........ :)

  • heck yes

  • yup yup 4g63 4 life!! im in love wit my 90 talon too bad its front wheel drive, even at 14 pounds of boost no traction!!!!

  • A whole 14lbs??? my god that's amazing!

  • uhh stock turbo dumass, i can crank the boost up 2 18psi but if u know anything about dsm's that=FUEL CUT STUPID

  • haha i blew my stock turbo turning the boost up... gave me an excuse for a 16G though lol

  • little did they know that there would be a man, John Shepard...who would buy its closely related brother. Check it out, search John Shepard vids.

  • yeah man i have 1998 eagle talon N/T (daily driver) and just bought a 1990 eclipse gst for 300 and love it

  • Yea man i have a 1992 eagle talon tsi puttin down bout 270WHP. Its a lot of fun. I have invested a bit of money into it but the only thing i hate is that i have a FWD so basically no traction till third unless slicks.

  • yeah I know what you mean only when i bought my eclipse would of been nice if they made a mistak and it was actually GSX i decoded the vin its only FWD but still it turbo eclipse.

  • Oh yea man...4G63 for the win. I got into the turbo world on a budget so I it was either this or the SR20. For some reason i chose this...and I dont think i will ever regret it. And I dont think i will ever have car without having another car that is 4G63T powered. :)

  • lol awesome I have a 1991 Eagle Talon which is the same same pretty much

  • Haha! What a great commercial!

  • The Moon and the Sun, the ultimate ride has sent from God. The Eclipse has born.

  • here yall bitches go, aruging over a damn car, bitches enjoy the damn commercial

  • Once again, 4G63 from an Evo WILL NOT WHAT SO EVER fit in a regular 4G63 Shell Eclipse. The design of the motor is the same, like I said, But its 180degrees, meaning completely different blocks! I own Evo's and DSM's! Mitsu is our leading customer!

  • and ur tellin me this for?

  • Notice how the car is Left Hand Drive... unlike other jap cars? Eclipse owners in Japan see thier cars like we see RHD cars here in the US! RARE!

  • Also the Evo 4G63 and the Eclipse/Talon/Laser 4G63 were only similar in design, the blocks themself were completely different... Meaning you couldn't put an evo motor in an eclipse unless it was a dodge version (holding the 420A Motor) or without major modifications!

  • what the hell are you talking about??????? the 4g63 in both of the cars are the same one. only different is, its flip 180 degree. different piston and rods. Don't miss lead people even yourself don't know. you donkey.

  • I guess you never heard about the Evo 1 through 3 which used the 4G Mirage/Lancer chassis. Those engines used the same orientation as the T/E/L and GVR-4 and the same 4G63T engine.

  • u made me remember my 94 talon lol *sniff sniff*

  • To the person commenting about Jap Sports cars... Too bad the car in this video, is 100% Domestic! None of the DSM's were Jap at all, they were imported TO japan from the US of A! 3000GT's, yes were Jap... But NOT the T/E/L's... They were made by a company called Diamond Star Motors starting in 1989 all the way to 1999... Now Mitsubishi Makes the Eclipse... which is why it isn't as nice as the older eclipse's.

  • dude. it was sick back then. it just that consumers had changed their taste since then. i remembered back then people thought those concept cars(which are the ones we driving now, the round edge type) were ugly.

  • the evo is nice, but i igreed with rob0079

  • why the hell 90s Japanese sports cars were better that the ones on this decade, all we got are EVOs and STIs, the rx8, the 350z,the new eclipse they all suck. What happen to all those awesome exterior designs?

why didn't Toyota replace the mr2 properly?

    Where are the twin turbos???

  • EVO-4g63, AWD

    GSX-4g63, AWD

  • he said awesome exterior desings. Not ugly 4 door saloons.

  • great video excellent!!!!

  • . . . back in the early 90s I was a broke-ass college kid . . . 3000GT VR4, RX-7 Mk3, Supra . . . wanted but couldn't get. Now that I can afford them they don't make 'em . . . Ain't that a b---

  • Classic 1G launching. Don't you love those GSX units? Too bad that Mits can't make a car like this again.

  • They do, it's called a Lancer Evo

  • no they don't, EVO's are ugly as sin.

  • Sweet, awd dirt launch.

  • Love it. Been looking for this for a long time!

  • lovely
