One of Numans biggest fuck-ups has been to try and give the classics a revamp, meaning with every new album all the classics we've come to adore, are destroyed and buried under a wall of stinking mud. He hasn't got a friggin clue anymore. Sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally agree, he can't produce or engineer for shit. The jagged tour was a fucking joke everything from DAT all the choruses pre-recorded. Gary Numan god father of electronica, professional muso? don't make me fucking laugh!!!!!!!!lol!!

The best live version ever was on the Jagged tour, much meatier than the 79-81 version, doesin`t sound tinny like it did then.
This isin`t bad though.
We`ve moved on, the 79-81 crowd need to.
