Kandisa mean "Praise" in Aramaic... the ancient language spoken during the time of Christ. Indian Ocean got the inspiration for this song from a service in a Syrian Catholic Church in Kerala and this song is a hymn in praise of the Lord.

@justbala123 yes in Aramaic....but for the record they learnt it from a friend from Kerala who would sing it specially when he was sloshed! :D the song is an old syrian christian hymn which the syrian christians brought along with them when they arrived in India, even before St Thomas.....a 2000 yrs or so ago.
