Any company knew he was famous for ALTWIEN they could have had it on a side and realized this great virtuoso would always have people wanting to but this record.Lhevinne.Hofmann will always sell .M.Jackson may be forgotten but as long as peeps play piano they will want to know what he sounded like.Two of his best recordings were his Schubert song.the man was incredible at his debut he playd these etudes he knew they were genius I can't understand how he lived to 38 and didn't

Great recordings, it would have been interesting to here these performances followed by Godowsky's performance of his own etude which combines these two Chopin studies.

I'm sure the whatever record company he recorded these for would not have allowed it, since it wouldn't have been commercially viable.
