After their performance here at the Detroit Fox, IL VOLO and their attending family members were invited guests of a grand gala charity banquet at the Detroit Opera House (3 blocks away), sponsored by the large metro-Detroit Italian-American community. Proceeds of that $250 per head banquet goes to Boys Town of Italy and other Italian charites.
The charity event reserved the first 20 rows at the Fox for the performance before dinner.
@Eisstern500 As always, you're most welcome Eisstern500! Their voices really resonate in the Fox. The auditorium is as tall as the inside of Notre Dame de Paris. And the balcony that Davisthegecko was seated in is the widest balcony in the world at 170ft (54m). I bet their stage set looked really small, since the Fox stage opening is 110 ft (35m) wide.
(P.S. I give historic Detroit Theatre tours every August. ;-)
I think she is an Itallian movie star. Monica Diluge (don't know last name spelling)
